I purchased this for my new 16" MacBook Pro so that it would have a protective sleeve for when I needed to move it from room to room. Based on other reviews, I was a little hesitant because of the straps, but I wound up purchasing it because I really liked the look and the idea of having an 'antique book' cover for my MacBook and it looked fairly sturdy. I doublechecked the measurements and the compatibility so I felt sure that it would fit, and it does fit great. I don't bother using the plastic straps as I don't like having them across my screen. I know which is the top of my case because of the engraved 'Mosimo' logo in the bottom right corner of the top of the case, so I'm never worried about my MacBook suddenly sliding out. I really like that it opens flat so that I don't have to take my MacBook completely out of the sleeve. I can just unzip the sleeve, open my MacBook and get to work. When I need to move, I simply shut my MacBook, zip up the case, and take it with me. If I'm traveling out of the house, I put it in my Northface Backpack and it fits well in the laptop pocket. (My Northface Backpack is the smaller version for women, as an FYI for size). So far, I feel that it is very functional for my purposes and that it is easy to clean. This is a beautiful laptop case that fits the 16" MacBook Pro perfectly. I had it closed on the table and some people thought it was an actual book. :D

I really like this laptop cover. I like the design that makes it look like a book when you stand it on end. If you did put it on a bookshelf and someone broke in, it would be one of the last things they would even look at. The exterior cover feels good and has sturdy stitching. It has double zipper pulls so that you can close it at the top or bottom, depending on your preference. The inside has a soft felt type of material will a little padding under neat it. This is the larger version and my 2024 16" MacBook Pro fits in the case nicely. I highly recommend this case to anyone that likes the book style design. JohnnyF

This is pretty cool. My work switched out laptops just a week ago and my current device is bigger than the last one. By the way, the smaller previous version slipped down a wall and broke some plastic bits off the computer. I learned the importance of protection. I was able to use a leather journal cover to satisfy my requirement, but this larger device is too big for any journal cover I’ve found- until now- though this cover isn’t marketed as a journal cover/ it fits like one. My Dell Latitude 3550 15.6 inch screen fits snug in here. One note: as I use this on a riser to improve my posture, I also use a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse- each with their own usb transponders. Those need to be removed if I want to zip this cover all the way. Not a problem because most of the time this is kept propped open on the riser. I love the book binder styling. Fits my vibe. I’m an English teacher. I recommend this- just be sure to measure your dimensions and don’t forget any plug-ins you have. You may need to remove them during zippered transport. They can tuck inside the zipper edge, I’m sure.

The media could not be loaded. So you’re a person who loves books, and you also use a computer. This is the perfect blending of the two! This thing feels like butter - it is so smooth and so soft. I’m telling you, you’re going to want to carry your computer everywhere just to have this case with you at all times. Plus, it actually looks like a book. The quality is amazing, the protection for your computer is phenomenal, and the price is right on point. What more could you want? Nothing at all — so buy it. You’ll be glad you did.

I went out on a limb and purchased this item for my Lenovo Thinkbook 15Gen4 and it is a perfect, let me say that again, perfect, fit. I will be using this to transport my Lenovo to and from coffee shops and other out of the house places where I will not want to lug my whole backpack. It is a very nice looking case with a high level of attention paid to detail in the manufacturing process. I do acknowledge that certain Apple laptops do not utilize a cooling fan and rely on conductive heat dissipation for cooling. That having been stated, my Lenovo is fan cooled, therefore, I will be sure to remove it from this product for any prolonged usage to avoid overheating. It is smart to keep in mind that heat is a laptops' mortal enemy. It sucks not only processor speed, but also the life from your laptop if ignored.
