The case is easy to install and makes the computer look quite stylish. Will protect against scratches but if it falls, the insides will probably still be damaged since it has no rubber to lessen the impact. The case is good for adults but would bot recommend a device used by youths.

This is my 3rd Mosiso cover for a MacBook Pro I've had in 3.5 years. The first two were for an older 2020 MBP, and had a softer more rubberized feel to the touch. Finger prints were definitely an issue on the older Mosiso version, however this new cover, for a 2023 16" MBP, has a slightly harder feel and has resolved the fingerprint issue for me. It's still soft to the touch and doesn't feel like hard plastic so I much prefer this version. Maybe all the reviews commenting on fingerprints were using the previous version but for me Mosiso has solved the fingerprint issue. Keep in mind everyone's body is different. Some have more oily fingers and a different PH so that may have an effect how the cover attracts fingerprints. I tried the keyboard cover for about a minute and didn't like the feel. I felt like I was working the counter at McDonalds. My experience with the Mosiso case is they last about 1.5 years before they become brittle and start to chip at the edges. At $17 price to protect a several thousand dollar computer I just buy a new one. NEW on this version of the case, the "feet" are less rubbery and more silicone slide style. It makes it easier to slide your computer on the desktop which I like. I don't like that the feet are white. I think black would look better I hope this helps your buying decision! ... show more

The case fits for the 2023 16" M2 Max MacBook Pro. Does it feel like it's gonna fall off? No. Does it feel good? I think so. Does it look good? That's your opinion and it depends on the color. I own the Space Gray MacBook Pro and I like its darker tone, but the Matte Clear messes with that and brightens it up to the classic MacBook Silver, which I don't like. I do like the frosted look, it doesn't leave noticeable oil or grease marks from hands which is nice. I'm returning this one to try a different color. I was concerned at first. The packaging is just in this plastic cling wrap, and the case appeared bent under pressure, but after taking it out and putting it on all was normal and snapped into place. I did however find one or two little marks on the case that couldn't be cleaned, but for the price I don't know if you should complain. Maybe you can. I'm returning this one anyways so it doesn't matter. It might be for compatibility reasons, but with my 2023 M2 model, there are no vents underneath, but the case has slits for the vents. They do have the slits for the vents on the side of the Macbook (with tiny supports covering a few hairs) so as is well. The MacBook opens just as well with the case on, I thought I saw someone mentioning that on their's but it must have been a poor mold. The pads on the bottom feel fine as they are, but the kit did come with additional pads. Unsure if they are replacements for if they break on the bottom, or for extra support? There is no way to test its durability so I won't act like I do know. I did not test the screen protector, I am going to buy a different brand according to a friend. I did try the keyboard mesh, but I didn't know what to expect. It doesn't stick down to anything, it just kind of sits there. I could imagine it's good as a dust cover. I left my laptop opened one day and was annoyed, so I might keep it in the future. ... show more

    • Cracks very easily, impossible to keep clean

I have ordered two of these protective cases. I bought the first one in May of 2023- it lasted about four months before I noticed that it had started cracking. I didn't drop the computer or slam it into anything- but it still was developing cracks. I've ordered MOSISO cases for my other computers before- so I figured that the one cracked case was just a fluke- so I ordered another one in October of 2023. Again- four months later- this one has started cracking from a corner too. Same with the first case- I didn't drop the computer or slam it. (No one slams an expensive 16" Macbook Pro around, do they?). Ultimately, I'm disappointed in the quality of this case- so I'm not going to be ordering another one. Lastly- and this was true for the aqua cover I purchased in May of 2023 and also the dark red cover that I purchased in October of 2023- they are impossible to keep clean. The outside shows fingerprints- and once they are there, they are nearly impossible to remove. The keyboard cover protects the keys- but leaves a residue and marks on the screen when the laptop is closed. As I mentioned, I've ordered MOSISO cases before for my previous Macbooks and have always found them to be a decent value and good quality for the price- but the cases for 16" Macbook pros seem poorly made. ... show more

    • Great Quality for the Price!

I chose the Rose Pink which is a nice subtle pink once the case was installed and looks sharp on a solid black laptop. Very easy to install and I love the new look! Perfect to protect my new MacBookPro. Great quality for the price and easy to snap on. The downsides: 1) On the light weight keyboard skin, the only button that is lit up through the skin is the CAPS LOCK key. All the other keys are opaque white which covers up the lit up key. If they can make the cap lock transparent, then why they do not make all the keys transparent especially when using the computer at night, is beyond me. 2) Once the cover is snapped on the screen, you can no longer see the Apple logo on the back of the screen. It would be MUCH nicer to have that portion of the screen cover transparent so you can see the logo. 3) Please include instructions on how best to apply the screen protector, as I am left with a few minor "bubbles" on my screen. Overall, I still love this case and it is great quality for the price! If they can make the keys transparent to see light through the skin, I would give this product an "exceptional" rating. ... show more
