Purchased this to better protect my MacBook Pro and am pleased with the design, look and features. The slats in the bottom makes it very "breathable," which is key with any electronics. This shell comes in two pieces that "snap on," but do not scratch the finish of the MacBook. Note that this might seem a bit tricky to install. The bottom is easy to snap on and its logical how to place it. The top must be placed a specific way and instructions aren't that clear about it. I honestly placed it wrong several times and it kept coming off. So... The top panel has two tabs on one side and three on the other. The side with two tabs need to be placed at the bottom of the back of the screen. It's easiest to do this with the laptop open. Then, you need to ensure the panel is flush against the lid while you snap the three tabs on the top. You may have to use some pressure, but it does fit. Just keep working at it, offering slight pressure, snapping on the tabs from left to right. Overall, a well-made product at a very fair price.

This is my second Mosiso case. I had one previously for my last MacBook and find them to be a great case especially for the price. It fits perfectly to the computer and still allows it to have a nice sleek look while being protected from scratches and small dents. I ordered this case that came with the extras because it was only a couple dollars more then without them. My charger, cables, and any adapters I use on a regular basis fit perfectly in the little drawstring pouch that came with it and the keyboard cover fits perfectly over the keyboard and is able to come off extremely easy as well. (its just a thin rubber cover but is nice quality). The screen protector isn't anything special, just a clear film and needed several adjustments before I got it on perfectly. Overall I have been extremely pleased with both Mosiso case purchases I have made and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple sleek case to help protect your laptop from scratched and small dents.

I ordered the Lavender Gray 15" MacBookPro cover and I love it! It looks great, it feels like suede and I only have one issue with it and that is that the bottom half does not go all the way to the back of the laptop (see pic), the front of the cover halves both go to the end of the laptop (see pic). So because the bottom is shorter, the bottom half can make your laptop slip out of the case if you don't have a strong grip on both halves. So I fixed mine with some strong double adhesive tape (see pic). I purchased another laptop cover many years ago from another brand, it was the same issue but the tape squares fix that problem without any incidents. Because of this, I docked my review one star, and that was hard for me to justify because I really everything about it and the fixed took me 2 minutes because I already had the tape. The cover came with a keyboard protection cover, I didn't think it would stay but it does surprisingly and it is really nice too, I literally had to check it to see if it had a sticky adhesive because it lays so well on it and it is soft too and matches your laptop color! You also get a screen protection adhesive plastic sheet that has been great so far. If you are looking for extra protection, I would by the Mosiso sleeve too! (See pics) Comes in many colors too and fits the laptop perfectly snug and has a nice neoprene cover. My sleeve is called Space gray I think. One other benefit, is if you put the pouch under the laptop when you are sitting on the couch or bed working, your lap will get hot but the pouch prevents the heat from reaching your legs. Additionally, it also comes with an extra small carry pouch for the battery and adapters. Needless to say, after getting my previous MacBookPro's screen cracked two weeks ago, I feel I have goo protection for my new laptop. I hope this helps!

I'm a bit sad. I made a mistake in ordering and thought this was the right one for my 2012 MacBook Pro, so it doesn't fit. I'm leaving a review, though, because of how pretty it is. I've had this type of shell for many years and occasionally change the color. None have been so beautiful. I just wish I could find this color in one for a bit older Mac. It was similar, if not identical, to the other brands I've purchased before. Nice quality. Love the rubbery matte finish.

Great protection, fits like a charm. However - you can see almost every finger print prominently on it if your hands aren't clean (which isn't bad imo, it rubs off with alchohol). Came with a screen protector and a keyboard blanket, felt like a bonus to me. All for a good price. I am very satisfied!!!

I purchased this shell case in February of 2021. As of June 1, 2021, this is my honest and true opinion of the product. I'm NOT paid for my feedback. When I purchased this product, I was really happy to provide my computer with shell protection that would prevent the actual unit from scratches, scrapes, and dents. And it did. What I'm unhappy about is the quality of the plastic. My $3k MacBook Pro computer started to look cheap and unprofessional. The plastic gets scratched VERY easily. My computer lives in a case I purchased from Apple. Yet, the unit gets scratched. Resting paper on the plastic shell would scratch it. What turned me off about the unit is when I received it, the plastic was already scratched. However, I never complained because the scratch was at the bottom of the unit. I've discontinued usage of this shell because it destroys the look of the true beauty of my MacBook. I like to keep my computer looking clean and well taken care of, but this shell was simply removing the quality of luxury from it. For a plastic shell, I paid $17.00 + tax. I was expecting more. I never contacted the company to make a complaint. I believe, what I purchased was simply what I purchased. I learned a lesson based on my purchase experience. Hopefully, other products offered by this seller will be better. Maybe another color would be better, but I'm not too satisfied with this purchase. This is my unbiased opinion. I loved the product at first because it made my unit nice. But, overtime, it started to suck :/
