I was looking for a new cover for my MacBook Pro 14 as my old plastic case had cracked and broke. This case appealed to me because I love books and this case looks and feels like a book! I also liked that I could zip my laptop into the case and it was protected. I ordered the brown leather look case and it looks professional and expensive. You can also hide your Mac with some other books, on your desk or shelf, and no one will know it hides your laptop inside. The only negative is that other buyers mentioned the cover not staying securely, on the laptop, the way it was designed during use. I solved the problem by putting the base of my laptop in the plastic grips or holders. I don't care if the top of the case is loose behind the screen as it stands up pretty much on its own. I purchased the case knowing it had this one issue and it was not enough to deter me from ordering. I love the case and it fits my MacBook Pro 14 perfectly!

I love this little case. Fits great. Looks so classy. Th only thing I would change is that there should be some slings on the lower corners as well as the upper corners,()of the opened computer, when laptop is open.. I think it would feel more secure.. However, it seems to stay in place ok when I open up my laptop. I love that it is distinctive. I think the quality is pretty good. I love that there is a zipper to enclose for traveling. It totally looks like an actual book when closed, which is nice for when you are out and about and do not want it to look like you are carrying a laptop (well, the size and dimensions may give it away,) but at first blush in passing...or on a shelf at home, looks like a book...sort of camouflaged..Like I said, they need to add a couple more cross straps where the maouse pad side is. Other than that..so pleased!

What an awesome computer cover! People and friends have mistook it as a book. I feel it is a security safety. I can put it on my bookshelf and no one knows it is my computer. It is well made and sturdy.

I've had this case for about 2 years now, and it's really great. I get so many compliments on it all the time, and it's held up pretty good. It is the EXACT size of my MacBook Pro 14-inch. There's no room for any wiggle, and it does block the laptop fans, so I haven't been using it consistently. I've been using it on and off, and it's lasted pretty well so far, and I'm happy with it. The color hasn't changed, but the "spine" of the book feels like it's going to flake off if touched too much. Unfortunately, the little plastic tabs that hold up the back of the case to the laptop are not very sturdy. They have loosened over the first year, and one completely ripped after the first year. I feel like I was expecting better quality, considering how much money I spent on the case as a college student. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest.
