I purchased this cover not to protect my laptop from scratches, but to protect my hands from the sharp edges of the 13 inch MacBook Pro that I recently bought. I called Apple to complain about the sharpness of the edges, especially around the vents on the bottom of the computer. They recommended this particular cover for the A2251 MacBook Pro model I have. I was a bit skeptical I would find a cover that was a perfect fit, but I was pleasantly surprised. This cover does the trick. I chose the crystal clear one and it arrived without any flaws or scratches. It is easy to snap onto and off of the computer, but still fits securely. It has a nice feel to it and makes the laptop a lot more comfortable to handle. I am 100% satisfied. Now that I have had this cover for 8 months I feel compelled to write an update about its lack of durability. I have removed the cover because it is cracking, creating sharp edges and corners. For the price I paid, I am not willing to replace it every 6-8 months. It's a nice fit, but won't last.

Perfect fit for my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro minus a VERY small spot on the corner that didn't get trimmed correctly but hardly effects the fit and function what so ever. They can definitely be a little tricky to get on proper but if you look at the design you can figure it out without much effort. They can be VERY fragile though so put them on with intention when you figure out the proper orientation. With the matte black you will ABSOLUTELY see finger prints from time to time but doesn't take too awful much effort to buff them off. This is my second and after the first one cracked over time I ended up getting a slip case that my laptop with THIS case goes into and haven't had a single problem since

This case was not good. I threw it in the garbage a day after using it. Don't get me wrong the case looks nice and has a clean look to it, but the case itself felt so bad. I like to be able to have a grip on my laptop when I'm holding it and this case almost makes it worse to hold since it feels like its covered in dust and slippery. it almost felt like it was gonna slip out of my hands. I tried cleaning the case just in case it was actual dust but it made it worse (The Mac by itself had a better grip). It also was almost impossible to get the case off the laptop (I thought I was gonna break my laptop). Felt like super cheap plastic and the "rubber" stops on the bottom also was not gripping at all. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand that doesn't feel like it was made in a sweat shop.

The texture is slightly velvety and pleasant to the touch and it is much sturdier than the previous ones I got which all cracked (and I’m not that hard on my laptop.) The light blue color is so pretty and it made me feel like o had bought a brand new laptop. It is protective, the cover snapped on easily and securely.
