EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I bought and returned many leather cases for my m4 15" macbook. I was looking for something that looked nice but did not cost a fortune. Personally I did not care if it was real leather or not but I was just searching at launch of the model and real leather from smaller sellers was all I could find. They were bulky, often did not fit correctly, and caused the lid to open really easy. After going through some returns and some time passing this item got listed. Its perfect! Much more affordable than other options. It being mass produced means the specs for the underlying case were already designed to fit correctly. No sound or snapping from any hinges when opening and EXTREMELY light weight top for having a textured coating means the lid stays closed. The fake leather looks real enough. Its nothing impressive, but I can say that I am impressed for how low the price was. If your hesitating I suggest just buying it now!

I got this to help keep my Macbook Air 15" M3 protected from the random bumping around while traveling. Pros Easy to install and fits snugly. The built-in stand is nicer than the little plastic tabs that come with other cases. It's like an origami thing that you can deploy it a couple different ways for air flow. The plastic casing is thicker than others I've seen. It looks like it would offer good protection from bumps and dings. Cons I know for this price, you can't get real leather, but the PU leather feels very thin (almost like spray on) and looks like the vinyl material in an old car. On the plus side, whatever it is, it doesn't look glued on, rather bonded with the hard plastic case. As it isn't even made of the ubiquitous, "genuine leather", it's a little pricy for thinly layered PU leather. Nitpicks Would have been nice to have a cutout for the Apple logo in the top cover. Otherwise, it kind of looks like one of those organizer binders from the late 90s/early 2000s. Overall, it's not bad for what it is, but at this price point, I would look for other options.
