Great quality overall , definitely protects the MacBook a little bit more than a traditional, hard showcase because the leather casing provides some cushion in case of drops. It doesn’t have any problem holding your laptop in place I was concerned that the upper corner elastic pieces would be flimsy, but they are not. Please be aware that the elastic pieces are clear which allows you to see through them to the screen but if you don’t keep them clean it may cause you to have little yellow corners. I found the outside of it really beautiful with the new/vintage style, though it does stain like any type of fabric wood so be cautious if you are working with markers as it could get a little artsy. 😂
