I bought this specifically to use as a carry on sized travel backpack. Every other carry on backpack out there is extremely flimsy with little to no structure or thought out organization. This works perfectly to maximize the capacity you're allowed to bring on a plane (fits within the max allowed dimensions for most major airline carries) while also having well thought out compartments to easily separate clothing (bottom), toiletries/snacks/chargers/etc. (top) & easy access to things like passports/docs in the other smaller front zip compartments. Not to mention it's also really stylish and well made/sturdy. MOSISO, if you're reading this you should tweak this to be a carry on travel backpack and market it as such alongside the original. Swap the zipper pulls for plastic so they don't make as much noise, convert the lower portion's compartment to be a zipper on the back of the backpack, keep the same price point, and this will be the top seller for travel bags.

It took me three tries before I found the right camera backpack. The first was too small, the second too bulky and heavy. So I guess this one was Goldilocks, just right. It has room for all my camera gear, and I was happy to discover that my large Tamron 600mm lens fits into the top compartment easily, even though I expected it wouldn't. Very happy about that. The laptop compartment is roomy enough for my 17" laptop too. Nicely constructed and looks nice too. Great bag!

First the Bad. MAJOR FLAW is the bottom of the massive laptop space has no padding, you drop your laptop into it and you will hear it hit the table below. They could and should update that with bit of foam or even better make it a suspended laptop section. I added an inch of foam strip at bottom and my 17 inch laptop still fits with about 2 inches of vertical spare space. SECOND MAJOR FLAW is the stiff orange camera dividers look good but the velcro does not hold them well to sides of bag at all, result was we arrived first location and I pulled the camera and another lens came rolling out onto the floor. No damage and lesson learned, I beefed up the connections to bag with some small silver foam dividers from a big dollar Thinktank bag I don't use now that are lower profile and yet have MUCH STRONGER velcro (you might see them if you look really close at my pics). That's a Lumix G9 MFT camera with 2 extra lenses plus a Sony Rx10 (28-600 equivalent lens) plus a GoPro10 in the pouch you see there. NOW THE GOOD. Hiked often more than 10 miles a day and the bag is comfortable. Originally wanted bag with hip strap and almost kept the GearUSA choice that has hip support strap but the shoulder straps were just too weak on that one. Tried a DOZEN other camera backpacks that just failed the test for one reason or another, including some major brand names that were $200 and more. This one is a bargain by comparison to many and the flaws noted above are easily dealt with, particularly if you read this review before you leave on that first big trip. I like that the bag will self stand, does not flop over. I like the squared off corners, makes massive space for 17 inch laptop. Shoulder straps are good for all day comfort. We hiked, ballooned, walked for miles of city and countryside.

I was looking for a backpack that I could use as a "personal item" on an airplane that would accommodate some camera gear as well as some personal items items. I have several camera backpacks that were too bulky or awkward to be stored under an airline seat. After the MOSISO backpack arrived, I determined that the MOSISO backpack wasn't sturdy enough for my heavy Nikon D850 and another lens or two. The dividers couldn't support the weight as-is. After trying several configurations, doubling up some dividers, and adding some additional foam to support the weight, I found the perfect solution (see photo). The camera is also accessible from the side zippered cover. It's a tight fit but that's not a bad thing. As you can see from the second photo, there is plenty of room for additional items (electronics, personal stuff, etc.). Buying this backpack for an upcoming trip to Alaska, I appreciate the fact that is is water repellant and comes with a rain cover. I haven't stored it under an airplane seat yet but the dimensions fit within the regulations for a personal item. Overall, this is a very versatile camera backpack and should accommodate smaller DSLRs and mirrorless DSLRs with no problem. The backpack also holds my travel tripod on the side and the laptop/tablet pocket is a bonus. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this product.

This backpack was able to handle a hike on Oahu that is not meant for the light hiker. It withstood a good two hours of rain, and none of my gear got wet. It kept the water out and was able to handle some trees, random snags, and more. It rained like crazy, but there were no issues with this backpack whatsoever. So if you are looking for a backpack that can handle your gear and some crazy terrain, go with this one. I have no complaints, and it is now my number one bag for when I choose to do crazy hikes for photos.

Distinctly underwhelmed, the bag itself is fine, looks nicely finished, plenty of pockets, etc. The internal dividers are fabric covered cardboard which will NOT fully protect either my lenses or camera. So disappointed as externally it looks really, really good! If they replaced the dividers with something more substantial, would probably buy again. Sorry,. this probably has to be returned
