I have been having trouble sleeping and, among other things, blue light blocking glasses were recommended. I bought a pair on Amazon earlier this month and they worked, but were extremely heavy and actually hurt my ears. These are so light, I forget I’m wearing them! Yet they seem to be of decent quality and don’t distort any images. I do believe they block the blue light as I can tell the difference when I wear them vs. when I take them off, but I felt the last (uncomfortable) pair I had did a little better job, hence the 4 stars. They do come with a nice case and wipe, which comes in handy as these glasses are not anti-smudge. (Though they actually stay a lot cleaner than the last pair which smudged like crazy!) The only thing for me is the design, which is a personal preference, so I’m not taking stars off for it. They are a bit thin (and I’m Asian! 😅). I got the Blue Light Blocking Oval Glasses in the burgundy color, and I am honestly impressed with how well they perform. The frames have a small cat‑eye shape that looks cute and stylish, and even though they’re plastic, they feel strong, sturdy, and durable. I’m not sure what type of plastic they’re made from, but the hinges and screws are a silver toned metal and the frames are solid, and the temples and temple tips don’t pinch or put pressure on my ears. They look just as good as some of my prescription frames, which surprised me. I’m nearsighted and wear prescription glasses daily, especially for driving, reading, and watching presentations. I usually have to take my glasses on and off throughout the day because my eyes get tired or strained. With these, I can keep them on all day without discomfort. The polycarbonate lenses have a blue light–blocking coating, and I can actually feel the difference — my eyes feel more relaxed after long hours on screens, and I don’t get that usual end‑of‑day eye fatigue and headaches. The included case is a standard soft case. It’s sturdy enough to protect from scratches, but it’s not a hard shell, so it won’t prevent crushing. Still, it does the job for everyday careful use. For the style, comfort, and the noticeable relief they give my eyes, the value is extremely reasonable and budget‑friendly. The glasses come with a soft pleather case and a small swatch of microfiber cleaning cloth. The frames felt sturdy on their own and fit my small adult head comfortably while I had them on for a few hours. The lenses appear clear, yet I could tell that my vision was tinted slightly yellow, which is how you're supposed to be able to tell that it's blocking blue light. I felt like my vision was hazy and so I removed the glasses to wipe them only to find the lenses did not have any smudges on them. Eventually I realized that the window behind me was reflecting off the lenses, causing a faint blue glare at my periphery. Ultimately, did these blue light blocking glasses do anything for me? No, but I couldn't tell if the relief I was supposed to feel from less blue light was negated by the strain on my eyes from hazy vision. Maybe these will work for you if you aren't backlit. Four stars for quality of the frames, minus one star for the glare. ... show more

These glasses feature a slim, retro oval frame and come with a protective pouch and cleaning cloth, which makes them feel like a good value for the price. However, the included cleaning cloth is not very effective—it tends to leave lint on the lenses, so I ended up using a different cloth instead. The cloth itself is also quite small, which limits its usefulness. When wearing the glasses, I do notice a slight warm (brownish) tint, which seems to reduce the harshness of bright screens. Since I’m sensitive to glare after LASIK, this actually helped make viewing my phone and computer more comfortable, especially in the evening. That said, the lenses are not perfectly clear. There’s a small dark spot that doesn’t come off even after cleaning, and overall clarity feels slightly off when looking at objects other than screens. Because of this, I wouldn’t want to wear them all day. Even with these flaws, considering the low price, they still provide some benefit for reducing eye strain during screen time. ... show more

Mosanana Blue Light Blocking Glasses. We spend more and more time in front of devices that emit blue light which has a negative impact on eye health. These glasses have a tortoise shell finish. Included with these glasses is a cloth lens cleaner and storage case. These glasses fit comfortably. These glasses are made for wearing when viewing electronic devices such as computer screens, phones and television. I cannot say how effective these are at blocking blue light as I never see the blue light but I will say anything to help me maintain my eyesight I am willing to give it a try. At the price, these glasses are affordable enough to for consumers to give them a try. They are also cute, comfortable and lightweight when being worn.
