Mortal Kombat games are always great. And with MK11's ending seeing Kronika getting defeated, and her Hourglass being repossessed by Liu Kang, Liu now holds all the realms fate in his hands. Instead of trying to achieve personal gain from the artifact, he starts a fresh new timeline in which everyone leads "mostly" normal lifestyles. Raiden no longer has thunder powers (or at least he doesn't at the start of the story), and by doing so, he hopes to keep Outworld Earthrealm and all the other realms in check. But of course, there are sinister plots being put in motion behind the scenes. This game also has a new Kameo feature which is basically like a tag team dynamic, you pick your main fighter and then you pick a Kameo fighter, who you can press a button to have assist you in fighting. Its nothing revolutionary but it achieves what it sets out to do. The fatalities are gruesome and I cant wait to find out what guest characters we are going to get treated to this time!! The only complaint I have is that it came with a digital download code for some dlc and the code was only redeemable in the UK I live in the U.S.A. other than that I'm happy!!

I have been a Mortal Kombat fan for ages, but MK1 is huge disappointment and my least personal favorite entry in the series. Since day one the game has been plagued by bugs, glitches, had shoddy, unstable online gamplay. The story is awful, they've butchered the lore of the series to an irredeemable place.
