I'm in my 50's and I have long hair, but it has become so dry and fly-away frizzy and I have bought the best shampoos and conditioners out there. I watched a hair stylist on a video talking about hair issues like mine and he recommended this oil. I had never used an oil and thought it would make my hair greasy. It has been the best thing I have ever used on my hair! It makes it look so healthy and it shines like I have never seen it before. It actually gives my hair a healthy "weight", not oily just looks moisturized. I use it everyday as recommended but just on the ends first then midway down to the ends. This is not for light hair. I have coarse thick hair. If you have light, thin hair, use a lighter oil, not this one. This one is heavy, but even after using it everyday, my hair soaks it up and do not look greasy. Leaves my hair so soft. I will continue to use this product. I do wish they made more than one scent. The scent is nice, but it's coconut like at the beach, and smells great, but sometimes I just want a light clean fragrance and this is not light -- still nice, just more than I want at times. Love this product!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Moroccanoil Treatment for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a decent hair oil with some clear benefits, but it’s not perfect. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving my hair greasy, which I really appreciate. It adds a nice subtle shine and helps with frizz control on humid days. That said, I didn’t find it to be a miracle worker. While it improves smoothness and softness, it didn’t drastically transform my hair or solve any major damage issues. Also, it has a very distinct scent—kind of a strong, sweet fragrance—which some might love, but I found it a bit overpowering after a while. The packaging is sleek and convenient, and a little goes a long way, so it lasts quite a while despite the price point, which is on the higher side compared to other hair oils.

perfect for my long thick hair. Keeps my hair soft and frizz free. Came highly recommended from Chris -youtube channel, blowout professor! My hair is coarse and similar to Leslie’s. I’ve also recently tried sol de janeiro hair oil which is equally as thick but smells better. I love them both and will continue to use both depending on my mood. If anything changes ( as I’m new to both) I’ll return to post an update. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Recommended by Chris- I love his videos and appreciate his advice. Just a drop or 2 is all my hair needs for the entire day. Hair health: my hair is frizz free and SO SOFT!!! ( it’s usually very frizzy and untamed. Value for money: Product is pricey but will last a long time because a very small amount is needed. Greasiness: Not greasy but I cannot use this on my husband or daughter because they have fine and medium hair! It’s too heavy for their hair - makes it fall flat with just 1 drop. For their hair I used olaplex as recommended by Chris! I tried this product on their hair just to compare!

I’ve buying this hair oil for my wife since we first got together as teenagers. She’s sworn by it for 7 years and it always leaves her hair smooth. It’s a heavier weighted hair oil, not oily unless you use a lot. Doesn’t leave her hair looking greasy but shiny and vibrant. She has natural black straight hair. For seven years, it definitely has helped with her hair growth. It’s beautifully long- just at her buttocks. A big bottle lasts her a good 6/7 weeks. Almost two months. Worth every penny.

Absolutely. Amazing. My wife (who is writing this review) uses the oil every night. It does wonders for my hair. Not only does it smell nice, but after a few uses, the texture is much softer. It does a great job smoothing my hair. One word of caution... a little goes a LONG way. Do not overdo it or your hair will look greasy! Will definitely buy again.

Lovely scented, Non greasy oil for my wavy, blonde hair. Makes it shine and gives good moisture after days in the sun and sea and wind! I use it directly on my scalp for itching and it goes away instantly! Expensive though! $20/.85 oz.
