For the most part, these work great. They do seem to be airtight, but you have to watch taking the lid on and off as the inner ring will move and shift. It's not hard to flip over or fix or anything, but something to be aware of as I imagine if affects the amount of air that can or can't get in.

I had high hopes for these containers but they are not as sturdy as expected. The silicone band on the lids shifts so you have to make sure it is seated properly before putting the top on. I filled one container with water and turned it upside down, and some water did trickle out so I am not sure they are super airtight. They do stack nicely on top of each other and save a lot of space in my pantry. ... show more

These storage bins are great. They are air tight! Look great and close tightly without any additional clips or anything. Great design. You can put about 6 regular spaghetti packages in the largest one. If you choose to store them out of packages you can fit even more. These are great containers. I feel like I want to get like 20 sets of them :) ... show more

Update: seller has not bothered to respond regarding the defective item they sent! Not worth the risk. Original post: Found this manufacturing defect after filling the other 6 containers. These are great! ANYTHING that will make keeping my apartment clean and organized is an awesome product! These containers are great and easy to use, easy to seal. They seal is perfect which should keep everything fresh and keep any pantry moths out. Or any bugs in as the case may be. Three days ago, I put a new bag of rice in one of the containers, sealed it, and placed it in the pantry. Tonight I was going make some rice pudding after dinner and when I got the rice down, I say bunches of little tiny worms crawling all over inside of the container - yuck!! I hate it when I get something from the store and it is contaminated like that! Then you worry about the flour, and anything else that was in the vicinity of the worm infestation because you never know where they are going to pop up next. Sometimes they can be very hard to get ride of. But this worked out great! The bugs were sealed INSIDE the container. I was able to clean up the kitchen and treat the sink and countertops around the sink with bleach. I was then able to SLOWLY pour the wormy rice down the disposal (very, very slowly, because rice expands and if you go too fast you will clog everything up). I then placed the container in some hot soapy water with just a tablespoon or so of bleach and removed the seal,. I let everything soak in the hot water for 30 minutes or so then washed everything out and placed it upside down to dry. this worked BEAUTIFULLY and exactly like it is supposed to! It kept the infestation I brought home from the store, from spreading into my pantry and save me a BUNCH of time, money, and, just , --eewwww. I am also thrilled with the chalk stickers and how easily everything can be marked. These are great, I am SO HAPPY with them! ... show more
