I bought these new and the box came damaged and mostly opened with some of the paint on one of the feet chipped off and no screws, but I was able to use the screws that held down the transition I removed from the threshold. The instructions were good and installation easy, but the printed instructions in the box appeared to suggest a mounting distance of 5/16" behind the threshold and my door would not close on that-- I had to back that up to almost 15/16" (closer to 7/8" for me), so that the steps came down snug on the front of the threshold. Turns out this was the correct suggested distance all along (don't know if the issue was a misprint, ink issue or something else, but all's well that ends well). The door closes snugly with just a little pressure against the bottom when fully closed. There is also just a little pressure on the screen door frame, hinge side, when the steps are folded up into the camper. These pressure points (the front of the threshold and the screen door frame) may show some wear over time, but I don't see any cause for real concern about it. These fit my 2018 Flagstaff Micro Lite perfectly (25FKS, but I think the doorways and doors are the same on all versions), which is also sold as a Rockwood Mini Lite. The description of this fitting a 26-28" DW means actual door width (the width of the camper door from edge to edge-- Not the doorway, the door). My door is 26.5" (as shown in picture), and it fits perfectly. The feet at the bottom are, of course, extendable, and should be adjusted wherever the camper is set up so that the step threshold lies snug on top of the camper's threshold. This will ensure the door can shut safely and securely with the steps out. The latches on either side of the steps that hold them in the doorway for travel have lots of adjustment room, too. I've included some pics with some measurements I wish I had seen before buying these, even though they turned out perfect. Maybe they'll help you determine if they are a perfect fit for your camper, too.

Just received product and will not comment on the condition I received it in yet, but in middle of install now...and have a problem. Anyone else have this issue where the threshold is way too high to close door? Thx in advance?

Great steps for an RV. Our steps no longer feel like a trailer-side diving board. Very solid. The angle of the steps is much less steep and easier to go up or down than original steps; if you have knee problems these steps are much better. Very easy to lower for use, or raise up for travel. These steps weigh less than the original steps and are far superior. These steps will be INSIDE the RV when traveling so you might have to clean and dry them before putting them up for travel. Instructions: our steps came with NO instructions, but at least you can download them from the MOR ryde web site. Installation was very easy. Took more time to adjust the latches on either side to fit the door frame than it did to install the steps. BTW, there are NO instructions on the web site for adjusting the latches. Extending support legs pins and adjustment: the holes in the frame and the holes in the adjustable length legs are the exact same size which means they have to be perfectly aligned to get the pins in. It would be better if the holes in the extendable legs were larger than the holes in the side frames. Also, there have been times when we have pushed the legs all the way in and did not use the pins. However, the pins are loose and there is no place to store them when not needed. We will likely go to a farm supply store and get a pair of hitch pins with either square or round shaped spring retainers and then attach them to the sides frames with a short lightweight cable so they do not get lost. Great steps and we highly recommend using them.

What a fantastic product. MORRyde web site is so good. Made it very easy to order the right stairs. My friend and I installed in bout n hour. Had to do a slight modification to get past the door hinge, but no problem. I can't believe how sturdy they are. Also installed the MORRyde storage box where the old stairs were located. Very very easy

Arrived a day early....good. Weak packaging for this item. Box did not handle trip very well and was busted open in several spots. Be prepaired to modify your screen door for clearance if you do not currently have 3/8" air gap. Which means you need to start with a door that does not have a tight air seal now. Fitment of stairs in relationship to door opening is CRITICAL!! If I did what the directions instucted me to do, I would be unable to close the door. I am ver happy with the quality of the steps, just be prepaired to improvise and fabricate as needed for a good looking final install. I ordered the width according to on line chart and now see that I should have gone one size bigger. Too narrow for the latches to catch door jamb for storage......even adjusted all the way out. So it looks like these might be like buying some brands of shoes, "runs a bit small".

The original steps failed (flexco) on my travel trailer, they broke at the weld where they should not. I looked around from the campground on what others have done in similar circumstances and found Mor/Ryde. I literally spent 10 minutes putting these new steps in. I took my time triple reading the instructions. Easy as can be. I do have to say these steps are not cheap but they are sturdy and were easier to install than the OEM junk. With the easy install and solid product it makes me feel better about spending almost $300

One of the best engineered products I have purchased for my RV. Installation was easy. Because of the narrow entry on my RV the latches were too wide for the door but the folks at MorRyde had me covered with width adjustments for the latches. The steps are very solid and do not move even when my 240lb lard butt walks up them. My wife has MS and her mobility is limited. The width and stability of these steps will help her enjoy camping again. Make sure you carefully make the measurements listed on their qualifiers sheet and you won't go wrong. Pictures show optional handrail.
