Once installed, this is a great product. Sturdy, convenient, useful. Blends well with other black trim element. But be aware: installation is easy enough when the truck is on the lift. If you don’t have that, be prepared to lie on your back under the truck while searching for the bolt holes and tightening the bolts in hard-to-reach places. Also, the description does not tell you this can be installed only on the passenger side. You will need a flat wrench for one of the bolts that cannot be reached with any other kind of wrench.

This is a solid unit. The fit is perfect. The installation is easy. The only con is the footstep is made of plastic. There are all aluminum units out there but they are more money.
