This is an excellent protective case. The zipper operates very smoothly, and has a large zipper pull which makes for easy opening. I believe that the OBD2 scanner / code reader will be well protected, There is plenty of padding plus a strap to secure the scanner.

This replaced a small, cheap, older unit I had with a ridiculously short cable. Used tis unit only once so far but it's miles ahead of last unit. Wireless plug to OBD II port is great and display of diagnostics is helpful. Print is still a little small so glad I have reading glasses.
