Had the console for 6 months now and itโ€™s held up nicely in a kid free home. I do wish I would have bought the bundle with the matching coffee table in hindsight. I love the look of the unit and the doors slide nicely. The raised legs provide a great central place to house my roomba. Top had a dent. Can't honestly say whether it came that way since I didn't look carefully till it was constructed but I was really careful and constructed on cardboard. So, pretty sure came with a dent, about an inch. Behind tv so not too worried. Construction: pretty standard. Still managed to put the middle vertical board in backwards/mdf side front but the sliding door hides it so. ->>>Not sure when the back board is supposed to go in. I was left with it at the end and it was to late to slide in without cutting the ends so I guess it should go in earlier. I looked for the step and didn't see it? I wouldn't necessarily bother with the door stops (the wedge looking things. It stops the door from going to edge easily and I broke one right off the back. Seems fine, better, without it. Same with the overkill on the white tabs keeping the back in. Used two. The legs are little unattractive. Dull looking plastic a slightly different color with no fake wood grain. Mipio included contact info and info about what to do about problems and questions. An attempt at customer service!!!! Applause For less than 200 it looks pretty good. It's MDF and laminate. For the price, really worth it!!! I unfortunately didnโ€™t build it, but it took my boyfriend about 2 hours to build it on his own. 55 in tv on top, great additional to our space.
