well made using cambolts and dowels, very easy to put together ( took about 45 minutes) it slides open very smoothly, it is pretty short it’s below my knees and i’m only 5’8 it does look very good but i would probably put this in a small office or lounge / bar area rather than a living room unless you want something really low to the only thing i don’t like is the shelves cannot fit games or movies standing straight up. the tv in this picture is 55” id say it was a pretty good buy but ill definitely move it later on and get a bigger one for the living room. ... show more

We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality and appearance of this TV stand. We had originally been considering more expensive options, but decided to give this one a try based on its appearance in the pictures. It exceeded our expectations! I had someone else put it together for me while I was working, and it took about an hour to complete the assembly. The front doors slide smoothly and feel very sturdy. The piece looks very stylish and could easily pass for being triple the price. The back has two large holes for routing cables and is not made of cheap MDF board like some other furniture. There are three adjustable shelves that sit on small pegs and are easy to move if needed. It's worth noting that the door slats are open, which could be a positive or negative depending on your needs. In my case, the open slats allow me to place my mesh networking gear inside the stand while still maintaining good coverage. Overall, this TV stand looks great, was easy to assemble, feels solid, and functions as advertised. I highly recommend it! P.S. This is the same model as the "Lorccan TV Stand" available from other retailers. ... show more

I was impressed with the quality of this TV stand. First, the directions are clearly written with numbered pieces and lettered assembly pieces (note the wooden dowels fit tightly and you will need a small hammer to make sure they are completely set) and include helpful diagrams. It shows "engineered wood and metal". There is no solid wood, but it looks as close as possible to real wood. The top and bottom are made with a thicker particle board and other pieces MDF both are engineered wood, but the thicker top and bottom pieces add to the strength of the TV stand. The "metal" in the description is a full-length metal structure that mounts to the bottom of the TV stand that gives more resistance (my assumption) to flexing. It shows a top weight limit of 100 lb., which I tested by sitting on the unit once it was completely built. Sounds a bit risky but my new TV is 54 lb., and the stand has a somewhat small footprint (about the size of my backside). With the TV installed there is no significant deformation of the top (sliding doors still move freely after a week). One thing I will note, the top shelf weight limit is 100 lb. but I believe that should be distributed not in one small area. Additionally, engineered wood is not as resistant to moisture so if you live in a humid area I would not recommend this for outside use even under cover. Of course, that is just my opinion. First of, I would like to thank Mopio for working with me in expediting my order. I received it a week early than expected. Let me talk about assembly. Pretty straight forward. If you have had experience in assembling Ikea prodcuts, then this wouldn’t be too much different. The instructions it came with is very easy to understand. Took me a good 45 mins to assemble by myself. Only tool you need is a screwdriver. Sturdiness is top-notch. I was kinda hesitant when it says 40lbs on the weight limit. But it has pretty much handled my weight while I laid on it(I weigh 115lbs) without hearing any creaks. It held up my LG65C1 well, and the width is perfect for the tv. This thing really looks sleek and modern and fits perfectly in my living room. I would definitely buy the coffee table that goes along with this. Now let me talk about my complaints, and yes, these are just very minor where it might not matter to most you buyers. 1. I was saddened to see a blemish/dent on the bottom board piece, good thing is that it is towards the backside and is competely hidden when flush against the wall. I wanted the item to arrive in perfect condition. 2. I am a crazy cable freak and tries to hide all the wires and cables. I have tried mounting a power strip at the back of this thing with 3M strips and for some odd reason, they wouldn’t stick to the back despite me wiping with a damp cloth and drying it. Also tried cleaning with alcohol and drying. As soon as I stick it to the back, it immediately fall off. I have wasted 2 packs of the 3M strips without any success. I have given up and just mounted the powerstrip behind my tv on the top. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone. 4/5. Would give 5 stars if I figure out how to make stuff stick to the backside. ... show more

This stand is made of strong materials and looks great when assembled. I needed a unit that could stand the weight of my A80J and Klipsch RP Center channel while giving my system proper ventilation. One challenge with my room is that the pre-war floors are uneven in places and I found with my first unit that packing too much literal heat inside the stand with the weight of it all caused the cheaper unit to start to sag despite my best efforts to level the legs. Although it only has 4 feet, there is a metal bar that runs the length of the bottom to strengthen the overall unit and since each section has ample room for cable management the heat is able to disperse properly. I love that somehow this unit is sturdy and level on my uneven floors. I gave the unit a good light rock test to see if anything flexed or moved and it barely moved. One thing to note that inside my left compartment is my wifi router and a NAS while on the other side is a hue HDMI sync box, Apple TV, and Xbox one X. I made sure to try to keep the inside as light as possible to avoid excess heat / weight. Highly recommend this unit and I wish this company made more furniture. 10/10 would buy again. PS - Take your time assembling. It’s not hard and will likely take an hour or so, but if you properly tighten each screw and assemble with precision you won’t regret the results. I used a little gorilla wood glue on the interior connections that divide the sections and let the unit dry for a day before transferring my setup. Normally I wouldn’t think to do this, but a little wood adhesive and extra time can’t hurt if you plan to use as I have. One last thing - due to my receiver’s length front to back, it sticks out slightly which is enough to block the sliding doors from moving. This was fine with me considering I really don’t need to access these components much and you can just lift and very easily remove the sliding door on each side if you need to get to anything. Check your equipment size before buying if you want to slide the doors. ... show more
