Bought a 450mm scale as I needed something in the 18-19" range. Was surprised to find that the overall size is closer to 24". I can make it work on my small lathe but it would have been nice to actually get what I measured. Don't make my mistake. Look at the pictures for the overall length. Or as these are made by Vevor. Go to their site and match the scales up. Vevor lists the overall dimensions, the description above cuts those dimensions off the specifications chart. Pinout was spot on to the picture but like another reviewer said, the picture is of the socket the scale plugs into, so in essence think of it as reverse when looking at the scales connector. Worked with my Ditron DRO LCD display without having to modify anything.

Was totally surprised at the quality of this product.I expected mediocre at best...What was received was way way above what I thought it would be....fit finish and completeness was 10+...it plugged rt in NO hassles....now only time will tell as to its durability. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs it.

I bought three scales for my little mini-mill for the X, Y, and Z-axis, and have to say I thought these were a great bargain. They come with mounting brackets, scales covers, mounting screws, and end covers for the scales which was an unexpected surprise. Be aware that although these scales are advertised as Mophorn, they are labeled Vevor which was fine with me because they are of decent quality. Mounting the scales required some creativity, but that would be with any brand. Make sure you measure correctly for the length and keep in mind it will be easier to deal with a scale a little too long than one that is a little too short. The 3-axis display appears to be a more solid display than the Cozyel brand I have on my larger mill. Packaging was excellent and shipping was on time. The only negative was the display didn't have a ground wire in the package, but that wasn't a big deal since I made one in quick order.

These scales are as good as the best on the market and some for a fraction of the price. I did have to open one to cut-it to match a pre-existing installation. I have to say, I was impress with there quality. Also with the in-expensive DRO I have outstanding precision with out error compensation. Here the good; Solid and think aluminum extrusion. Quality reading head, it's well assemble and have quality components. The mounting end cap are seal There's two lips seal set to prevent contamination. Contact and connections well protected even inside the DB9 connector. BX wires is flexible and good quality, the length is more than sufficient. Easy to install and dial-in +/- .002" on two axes. Come with an adaptor (DB9 / RS232) to match two different type of DRO connection. The Bad!?! I didn't find any about the scale but the cover could be skinnier and have end-cap. It's funny, order 4 scale and one came with the end-cap !?! I'm recommending this product and I'm impress with the construction, quality and precision. It's easy to install and just need to be plug and play.

I was loosing my Zero point on my X-axis, so I bought the 800mm one based on the recommendations of others. I received this one in good shape and installed the scale with no problems but a little elongating of a mounting hole (my original scale 37.25" compared to this 37"). From a little testing, it seems to be functioning reliably. Other sites would charge $230+ for a glass scale with shipping. Huge savings over the other popular web site(s) for scales. When my other 2-axis give me problems, I plan to come back. Very satisfied so far, hope time and use do not prove otherwise.

I got this scale(10" version) a little while back, I am building my own system to read it. I've had no problems getting the A & B signals working, but the r1 signal for homing, does not seem to be present. I have it connected to a micro controller, on an interrupt & have scrolled back & forth many times looking for that pulse....nothing. If I figure out its something I was doing wrong, I'll edit this, but right now its a bit disappointing. I tried contacting these people about this, they have not given any response & now my return window is closed, NOT HAPPY.
