I bought this unit over a week ago and it is the second Mophie we've owned. We decided on the Mophie brand because the last one worked for over 11 years! This Mophie Power Bank XL is slightly larger and heavier then some competitors but is easily stored in any backpack or small bag. It also packs a punch! As advertised, it does provide 50% charge in about 30 minutes. I fully charged the power bank just once and I have gotten multiple devices (iPhone & tablets) charged and the bank is still around 50% capacity. This includes fully charging my iPhone 3 times when it was under 30%. I also had no problem charging two tablets (both about 85%) and my iPhone (about 70%) simultaneously with no issues. All three were fully charged in under an hour. The only thing I would recommend, and it should be explained in the instructions, is the initial charge for the power bank may take a few days. Apparently it has a safety feature where all 4 lights will blink until it hits a certain level. In smaller wall adapters (5w-10w) this will take a lllllloooooonnnnggggg time (days)before first use. I would recommend buying a good 20w adapter to charge the powebank. This seemed to solve the problem for me. The 10K Powerstation is a great tool to have by your side. The build quality and materials are excellent, the size fits neatly into any laptop bag, purse or case. The performance is very impressive, charging an iPhone 13 Pro to 100% (from 33%) in just a few minutes. It really does charge like a 30W charger! I've only had this for a week or so, but I expect it to last for a long time. There was a small hiccup when registering it on the Zagg site, but a chat with their support group got that resolved quickly.     • Good for iPhone, not for Apple Watch
This product works great charging my iPhone over USB-C. I haven’t timed it to see exactly how fast it charges, but it seems to work just as fast as my 18W charger. It also seems to start charging as soon as I plug the phone in, I haven’t needed to press the charge indicator button to get it charging like some older Mophie battery packs I have. However, when I try to charge my Apple Watch Series 6 using the USB-A port, it rarely goes to 100%. Typically it will charge 20-30% then stop. Not sure what the issue is, but I assume it’s with the battery pack since I don’t have that issue with my 5W AC adapter using the same charge cable. I haven’t tried any other brands of battery packs, so I’m not sure if any or all others have the same issue. I also haven’t tried using a USB-C Apple Watch cable. Another minor nitpick is with the battery pack’s charge indicator lights. I can never remember which side they are on, and the button to light up the LEDs is nearly flush with the surface and hard to find by feel. The lights are also hard to see unless you look at them head on, when I look at an angle they all appear off. While I overall like the exterior feel and texture of this battery pack better than the older Mophie battery packs that I have, I never had an issue with the indicator lights on the older packs. Overall I’d get this again. It would be even better if the Apple Watch issue could be fixed, and the charge indicator light and button could be made more similar to the old Mophie chargers. I also wouldn’t mind if the USB-A port was dropped in favor of a second USB-C port. ... show more
