    • Best available substitute for obsolete charger
I'm one of the early adopters of Mophie's "Juice Pak" cases for my iPhone 7-plus. It was very nice mate with their original charging station because both the case and charger had permanent magnets that directed the case onto the charger with ease, making a perfect alignment and excellent charging capability. Recently, my "Juice Pak" case failed and I had to purchase a replacement. The replacement worked fine, but no longer had the permanent magnet easy alignment. Not only are the magnets missing from the case, but the Mophie rectangular charger with magnets is no longer available. So I had to buy this unit, which Mophie told me was the correct charger for the case. It works fine, but I have to take care to position the case over the charger. I'm disappointed that Mophie no longer makes the charger with the magnetic centering, but I can live with this unit. By the way, before purchasing this charger from Mophie, I attempted to use two other round chargers from different manufacturers and charging was intermittent, often leaving the phone only partially charged overnight. Only the Mophie works reliably with the Mophie Juice Pak cases. ... show more

Purchased one of these and it did not work at all. Placing my phone on the pad (Pixel 9 Pro) just sits there and constantly connects and disconnects until it eventually drains the remaining battery. Returned and replaced with another unit and it works *sometimes*, but still does this sometimes. When it works, it works great: Form factor is well designed, very sleek and aesthetic, indicator LED is unobtrusive, charges battery in less than 2 hours... BUT, it still does this like 20% of the time. I have tried the following: - Replacing with another unit (as mentioned above) - Using both the factory charging block and plugging it directly into the wall in a USB-C port - Swapping out the cable - Using a smaller phone case (Otterbox Defender and Symmetry models) as well as no case at all (not that it matters, because this product is advertised as being compatible with most cases) - Charging a different phone (somehow works even worse with my partner's iPhone 13) - Using another wireless charger (my phone worked fine with two different models of Nanami chargers, one of which was not even designed for this phone In short: If I put my phone on this at night with 60% battery, there's a good chance it will be dead by 5 am. I cannot trust to do it's job over a sufficiently long stretch of time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have mixed feelings about this product. I like that it’s compact and looks chic on a table. It fits my Samsung flip 5 perfectly and is the best overnight charging station for my phone. I think it’s better for nightly charging as it does charge extremely slow which makes it inconvenient for daytime use if you need a quick charge. It is very easy to use, just drop your phone and charge, no need to plug phone in or fumble around with chords. The chord length is quite short. It definitely is durable as I’ve already dropped it off my bedside table a few times. Depending on what function and problem you are trying to solve with this product it may or may not be for you. ... show more
