Description

Mophie's 15 Watt wireless charging pad is a stylish charging pad for your phone and can be used at your home or workplace. The pad does not only look great but is comfortable to use, with its compact design that makes it ideal for use on a desk or by your bedside. The charging pad is made of a rubbery plastic that prevents it from sliding around on the surface. It is relatively light build, which makes it ideal for travelling with. Rather than the plastic toppers featured on other charging pads, the top of the charging pad is made of soft fabric which is less likely to get scratched or scuffed. The charging pad's up to 15 Watts Wireless charging speed is a well-rounded pace that will function well with the supported capabilities of latest smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S 21 and work seamlessly with any Qi enabled mobile devices. An LED indicator light is located on the charging pad's front which will tell you it is active. The 15W Mophie Charging Pad also comes with a Mophie power adapter, so you have everything you need to start charging right out of the box!

I’ve been using the Mophie Universal Wireless Charging Pad for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. It works flawlessly with my iPhone no messing around to find the “sweet spot” like I’ve had to do with other chargers. I just drop my phone on it, and boom, charging starts instantly. The pad has a nice, low profile design that looks good on my nightstand and doesn’t take up a ton of space. It also has a soft touch finish that keeps my phone from sliding around. Charging speed is solid not nearly as fast as plugging in, but definitely good enough for overnight or workday charging. One thing I really appreciate is that it doesn’t overheat. I’ve had wireless chargers before that got hot and made me nervous, but this one stays cool and consistent. If you want a reliable, well built wireless charger that plays nice with your iPhone, the Mophie pad is a great pick. I’d buy it again without hesitation. ... show more

I have had a previous version (2017 model) of this charging pad for 4 years now and have used it daily to charge my iPhone X on my bedside table as I sleep. It has worked flawlessly for literally thousands of charges, so when I saw this charger on sale here on Amazon, I thought I would pick up another pad for my desk. As soon as I opened the box, I was immediately disappointed. The packaging on the new 2020 version was a cheap brown cardboard box rather than the nicer packaging of the older model - fine, not a big deal, it's just the packaging, I mistakenly thought. Immediately when pulling the new charging pad out of the box, I noticed that it was SUBSTANTIALLY lighter in weight than the older version. The 2017 model was nice and heavy - it felt like a solid block of aluminum coated in a nice rubber finish. The new 2020 model, however was very light and the rubber coating was of substantially lower quality (there is a rough seam around the side). The new pad felt hollow and could be easily deformed by applying slight pressure to the top. The rubber on top was also dirty and looked as though it had been used as a coaster for a sticky beverage. I also noticed the charging block was also cheaper, lighter, and a different shape from the 2017 model. I attempted to use the charger and my phone became much hotter than with the older charging pad, and it also seemed to charge slower, although I did not bother doing any side-by-side tests because the charger went back in the box to be promptly returned. I am extremely disappointed that Mophie decided to sell out and compromise the quality of their product to sell to the masses at a lower cost. I know I will never buy another Mophie product because of this experience, which is truly a shame due to how good the previous version of this charging pad was. ... show more

    • Strong charging, easy to use
This wireless charger is really nice. I like the recessed/hidden soit where the cable connects, and it seems a lot stronger than my previous one (much easier to use, just set phone on it without adjusting location etc and it charges anyways). It has a nice weight that stays put where I set it. I don't think my phone case is magnetic, so I can't speak to that aspect, but the charging cable seems really high quality. It is USB-C, but it comes with the adapter which is great. The light on the side of this makes it easy to tell if it's charging or not. Overall really happy with this- so far I think only my phone uses this technology but I expect it will become more ubiquitous over time. ... show more
