It’s a fun shape. Not great for most tricks, but can definitely pull off more than your average cruiser. Not the lightest board ever, but what else would you expect from a ten inch deck. The fact that my heel doesn’t hang off the edge makes it a lot more comfortable than a standard popsicle. I didn’t think that’d be a big deal, but it’s kind of a game changer. ... show more

The project was a success thanks to the moose old school deck. Even with the heavy battery and hub motors, I can still make little hops over those broken sidewalk cracks. Pleased with this deck. It's maple, stiff... this would be ideal for bowl skating. Not so much for flip tricks. I get alot of compliments on this deck. Note that if you want to convert your eboard, you may decide to redrill the truck mounting holes to extend the wheelbase a little. Moose old school deck is a great value for the money. Bought for my child’s creativity to make a replica of Bart Simpson deck….A little large. Plan to make this like a longboard cruiser and look for a smaller old school deck

    • Not a Sketch On the Quality
This is a good quality deck. Not exactly sure how maple and glue gets much better. Plenty stiff, not baggy. Yes, comes with grip tape to cover 100%. Concave is good, kicks are your standard. If you want old school you can’t lose with this deck & price. At least use it as a reference point for your next old school deck. There is just one slight issue I have with the deck. The back truck placement is just a tad too close to the end making the kick tail too short for my preference, thus 4 stars. I’m 54 years old and have not skated since I was 27(?!). I had to purchased a modern deck (long story) and the wheel base was just too short and board too narrow for my preference. If I remember correctly, my last deck was a Jeff Phillips Tie Die Demon or what it the G&S Fiberlite<<both shaped differently than this.... . . So.. This is an ok re-starting point for now to ride local bowl and 1/2 pipe. I didnt quit skateboarding because I got old, I got old because I quit skateboarding -Jay Adams, sort of. Peace. ... show more
