I love the product, but I cant update the firmware! So i cant use the phone app with it. When I try updating firmware, it goes straight to rebooting, but I get stuck on “Rebooting the device 0%”. Not sure what to do about that. Still works just fine, but I obviously would like to update it!

This beautiful pedal is surprisingly easy to use and sounds great! I have other, more costly units that function similarly, and some days, I prefer this one. Lots of beautiful presets and plenty of ways to alter your sound. Great size ... not too big, but you can still easily operate the controls. Works great for a wide range of uses. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a multi effects box, the GE200 Pro has a lot of positive features, but there is one deal breaker if you are intending to use this live. The unit is a nice solid build. Heavyweight metal. Nice foot switches (could be more HARD click, so you know you have ACTUALLY pushed it. But maybe I am nitpicking.) Nice screen. And overall nice sounds. It can run off a lithium battery with the PRO GE200 model, which is fantastic. The very fact that it is relativity small compared to other multi effect boxes, works for it. It's so easy to place it on a desk and do all you programming using the knobs. A LOT better than bending over or kneeling on the floor and trying to do it. For actual use things get a bit more iffy. They call "something" banks. In fact there are no bank(s). There is one "bank" with 80 group preset of 3 variations per group. Many effects boxes have multiple banks with 100 group presets per bank and have 6 or more per group. Meaning they have 6 or more foot switches. This has three foot switches for presets. And a stomp-box capability. Meaning within one preset within one group you could turn off up to 3 effects per preset (or combine). So if you wanted to turn off just the fuzz within a preset you could. That's all good. But three presets per group is low, for real world use. They have an external foot switch, but I don't believe it ADDS any extra presets per group. I emailed them to be sure, but never got a response. So if you have VERY minimal effects per song it could be OK. BUT... This brings us to the deal breaker. With 80 presets you could very easily program multiple sets of music. So for instance your band has a 30 song set. If you program all your pre-set's for the songs in the order you will be playing them, then add songs or change the order. Now what are you going to do? Well there is software to do editing on the computer, which is great. EXCEPT that the preset order can't simply by dragged to move the presets into a new order. At least I couldn't. (Please correct me if I am wrong) AND there is only a scrolling up and down of the presets, even if you have the presets renamed for each song. You are pretty much in big trouble for a live situation. Are going to scroll up and down looking for the next song? At least on the computer editor they should have different displays so you could see ALL of your presets on screen at once. ( ie: 4 rows of 20...etc.) Also the software seems to display for a 800 pixel screen. Or at least NOT for a typical 1200 or 1800 pixel screen and you can't adjust it. So before I call this "pro" they need to address these HUGE issues. I wouldn't call it ready for actual live usage. It's a shame if they don't update this problem. Another thing to be aware of is that while they list all the amp and cab models the original names etc. The controls for each modeled hardware does not match actual controls on the original amps for instance (most likely the same situation for effects also). While this may or may not be a deal breaker. You certainly should be aware of that limitation. Some of the more expensive effects boxes use the exact some controls as on the original hardware. You can also download presets that other people have made and give them a try. Lastly I want to mention one feature that could be great. That is modeling a amp that YOU have. There is software that is free you can use to model your own amp. How successfully? It's debatable. Obviously you need to use a microphone, which adds coloring. How you play you guitar add coloring, etc. So there's a lot to consider. A big limitation is that modeling software is ONLY available for one operating system. They need to get on the ball with that. The GE200 Pro has some many good things going for it. If you keep within a narrow scope, it's a great unit. It could be a 5 star box with some changes. While the box is not a inexpensive product, in comparison to the "big" guys...it offers a lot of bang for the buck. But as far as actual use for live situation it's limited. So do your homework comparing features between effect boxes. A final note: I couldn't find a DIRECT comparison of features between the GE250 Pro and more expensive GE1000 Pro. Biggest difference I could find was the screen is a touch-screen and bigger. So I hope Mooer does a lot more to highlight the feature differences between the two.
