    • Didn't attach to a wall, but did what I wanted it to do
I bought this dock holder not to attach to a wall, but to hold my Switch dock on the edge of a shelf in an otherwise precarious way. I used thin double-sided tape to affix this to the edge of my display bookshelf so I could keep my dock in place (I use wired controllers and don't want it falling), while still being able to remove my Switch dock if I need to bring it somewhere, and to that end (in the one day I've had it) it looks and functions perfectly. Dock fits snug, you can barely see the mount, and unless something hits this decently hard, I can't see it moving on its own. Might attach it to a wall someday, but for now, it's perfect. ... show more

In short it's nearly perfect! Displays great! Looks fantastic in my gaming room! Most have for Hardcore gamers! Built very well. Made of metal. Nice small gap from the wall so there is no worry of the console over heating or covering any vents! Add some wires ties and wire wall mounts for that perfect professional look. I'd only say I disliked that there was only two dry wall stud taps and screws indued in the box. There is 4 holes and if your hanging on drywall where there is no stud you may need to buy a set of different stud wall tabs sizes and screws to make it stay in place easily. Otherwise after I got two longer bigger drywall stud tabs it stays in place even where there is no stud in the wall. I very much enjoy the product and fill it's great! ... show more

    • It works great. Placement is important
The mount works great. Easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Sturdy padded in the right areas. One important thing. Test your location before mounting. I put this directly behind my TV and found out that the signal to the Joycons was being blocked. This made my controller act as though it was possessed by Gannon. Poor Link was running all over the place and then directly off a cliff. So test you location before mounting. Once you find the best spot this mount will keep your Switch dock where you want it and makes taking the Switch out of the dock easy. ... show more

    • Extra bend for no good reason.

The Good: Cheap, seem durable(heave metal bracket) and the powder coat isn't bad. Good packaging. The Bad: There is an extra bend at the top of the back that makes the whole thing tilt forward and partially blocks one USB port. If the bend didn't go as far and you remove the flap on the back of the switch it might work. The Ugly: The heat dissipation thing is marketing BS because the Switch is what generates the heat and the opening is at the top, so the other style wouldn't trap heat. ... show more

I chose this mount because I wanted to get my switch off of my entertainment stand, but still easily get the Switch in and out of the dock. I ended up mounting this to the side of my TV stand and it's perfect. The dock fits right in and the cable exits and USB port cutouts line up perfectly, though I did have to position the bottom of the dock a little after the initial insertion to get everything to line up. I also appreciate that this mount doesn't have any big logos like some of the other ones I saw. ... show more

The mount was just as described and works as it should, my only problem with it was the shipping which falls on Amazon, said it was delivered on October 13 but was no where to be found because they didn't deliver it, however I did finally receive it 3 days later stuffed in the mailbox with the box and packaging already opened, so that would be my only gripe with the purchase! ... show more

Very solid design and full metal to boot. Was very easy to install. Have to be sure to get it in a stud, as the mount itself, the switch dock and console add considerable weight that could end up making it fall if not secure. Love how it looks too!

Easy to install with instructions. The metal frame perfectly fits the switch base and sturdy enough for slight downward pressure when inserting switch in base and joy-cons on switch while it is mounted.
