It is in fact heavy duty, but not overly heavy, after attaching the tool box, I put the screws through the box leaving the smooth screw heads inside the box. Then we attached the unit above the rear lights of the tractor(John Deere 3025 E) it was simple using the U bolts to the ROP (roll over bars) no rattle, good fit, value for the money. Hooks on the unit are in good placement for carrying hand tools etc. Easy to use right behind the Rop. Recommend

I love this thing! The little metal toolbox is a tad flimsy and lacks the top handle we all know and love. The hooks swivel, but the ones on the side facing the ROPS bars are largely blocked in that position and cannot be used to hang even a 1" diameter handle rock rake. Still, I tied my rock rake in place at the bottom of the basket - because without doing so the hanging bar twists and tilts the basket off level. A 1" rock rake at the bottom of the basket leveled the basket perfectly for a Massey Ferguson 2860 tractor. Now I carry a triple ball hitch, 6 box blade tines, a shovel, 2 pair of extensible loppers (bypass and anvil for dead wood), a machete, a gallon of water, and my lunch. (Did I mention the basket comes as a single completely welded unit and is extremely sturdy?) Mine came in one box. The toolbox and adjustable ROPS crossbar were packaged inside the basket with good scratch and dent protection.

Nice box, lid on the small toolbox rattles when tractor runs. Fixed it with weather strips. Wish the support arms were heavier, but it works. Takes minutes to put together.

Seems well made and was generally easy to assemble. Will serve as a utility box for my Kubota loader. Well...like another reviewer I mounted it differently than the instructions suggested. Due to the lack of an lower attach bar and since tractors are inheriently vibration prone I knew it would take some thought. I mounted it similar to the other reviewer except I put a strip off a recapped truck tire in the base of the frame to absorb some of the vibration. I used some existing angle off another project and cut it, bolted to the bottom using several rubber mounts used on air compressors to cushion the ride. It seems to be ok but I will keep a check on it to be sure. The box is a great idea and if mounting like on a trailer it would work better all around... Just envision it as a kit and that you are going to have to tweak it to be yours...A good value as is and even better if you do a few tweaks... (about me, live on a farm, retired, have a large shop and tons of vehicles and equipment to fix over this 25 acres in backwoods Alabama. If an item deserves 5 stars I will give it...If its lacking in an area or two it gets 4 and so on...I try to give reviews the avg Jack and Jill can use....I don't candy coat or give canned reviews. Each one is as accurate as I can be....)"Y'all come back now, ya hear?"... Genes 2 cents...
