I had it installed on a wood stud and the bike hanging within 15 minutes. It's easy to get the bike into the rack without help as well. Would definitely recommend for the price. I needed a solution for all the bikes we have. Before this system, my bikes were strewn all over the garage and difficult to navigate. To get these installed in my garage, which is cinderblock, I had to mount a 2x4 frame and then put 3/4” plywood on top. I then mounted these to the plywood and they work great. They are sturdy and hold the bikes securely. I love that they fold up and can be angled too. It has really saved a lot of space in my garage. The only difficult thing I had found was the measuring of how high off the ground to mount them. There is only a few inches between being able to have your bike vertical and the top wheel rollable onto the mount and have the bike be completely off the ground when mounted. After doing my first bike which required an adjustment, I was able to mount the others without problem. I don’t bother with the lower tire pad.

I've tried different garage bike racks, including ones that mount by the frame. Wheel hangers seem to be the least likely to damage the bike, so this is what we ended up with. There are more expensive versions of the same kind of thing out there, but we opted to give these a try. I installed these side by side (for our four bikes) in the back-center of our garage, so we can walk the bikes in and mount them up. The bikes are secured by the front tire, and the back tire rests on the wall as a pivot so the bike doesn't swing back and forth. Once the front tire is in place in the mount, the tire does tilt a bit to the side, but that's to be expected given that the width is set up to accommodate fat tires. Once the bikes are in place, you can swivel them back and forth as needed. The only real issue I have with this is that my kids struggle to get their bikes down (a little) and back up (a lot). With that said, this really solved our bike storage issue and we're willing to deal with some tradeoffs for an affordable option like this.

Product arrives as advertised, seems sturdy if you use the included lag screws and go directly into a wall stud. I have two e bikes that weigh 75-85lbs and they didn't immediately fall down. I'll know more in the future.

As others have noted, the soft metal bolts that you need to remove to adjust the arm are over-tight and easily stripped. I had to use channel-lock pliers to remove; I should have sent it back because of this. Once up, the slot for the uppermost tire is very wide so that my road bike hangs a bit cock-eyed. I will probably add some wood shims at some point Also, the bottom bracket is not slotted to hold the tire in place but is instead a protruding tab and the tire sets next to it. It doesn't keep the lower part of the bike from swinging around if bumped. Overall, I don't really see how it is much of an improvement over the simple wall hook.

If you're looking to make room by hanging your bikes on the wall, these bike hanging swivel wall mounts are exactly what you need! The mounts fit all of our bikes - 29, 26, 24, and 20 inch wheels. The mounts support the weight of our 29er emtb (e-bike) as well. They are easy to adjust and swivel so the bikes take up less room. I staggered the mounts high and low to make them lay flatter and that seemed to work really well. Now time to finish the shed! I just bought another pair to hold a few more bikes. I'm very happy with the quality, ease of install - they include lag bolts for a more secure mount to the wall, and the fact they fit all of our bike sizes.
