I have a 120lb 98" TV. I was going to just place it on a console table, but I was concerned that it might get knocked over and hurt someone. Also, this keeps it closer to the wall and I think that looks and performs much better in the space. I'll still build a console table to go underneath it. You really have to make sure you're going into the studs, in the dead center. If you don't know how to do that, watch some videos on YouTube or hire a pro. But assuming you can get that done, the mount is excellent. It held my 200lb body weight at moderate extension. I'm sure it would hold it all the way extended but I wasn't that brave. This is a heavy duty (and heavy) mount and I think that makes it worth the price. Some others were much lighter and I'm not sure I'd trust them. This is a tank. You will almost certainly need two people to install it. And I'd suggest a socket and ratchet to make the install as easy as possible. Adjustability is great, although I prefer to just take my time and make sure it's level from the start. I used a laser and that made things easier. It was strange that it didn't list the specific VESA mount pattern for my TV, but I was within the range they showed and it's working just fine. So I don't think that's an issue. But I did need to find different M6 bolts for my TV. Make sure you use the recommended length and not just what comes with the TV. They provide a bunch of options but none that matched what my TV needed. Not a big deal, but good to plan ahead for so you can order at the same time. Don't use bolts that are too long or you might damage the TV. Overall would highly recommend, and will likely buy another one of the same brand to mount a smaller TV.

We needed this mount for an 85" TV in our corporate conference room. The quality and strength both were exactly as expected for the cost. The cable management and included hardware were most appreciated. We have tested the motion range, and ease of adjustment, and it moves smoothly without any wobble or instability. The weight of the mount is appropriate for what it can hold. For anything below 60" this might be overkill, but it is a good-solid mount and the perfect fit for larger TV's. The included templates and instructions made it easy to install.

Hands down this the best tv mount I’ve bought. All the hardware needed and then some. Wanted an oversized mount for an older led tv which still has a lot of weight to it. Other than trying to hold the whole mount up to secure it to the wall. Had this thing installed in a half hour with 2 people. Tv now has all the tilt and extend options I could want.

Works well for mounting a Samsung QN90F 85" TV. The mounting kit comes with enough bolt, washers and shims to suit just about any installation, but it does take a little planning to choose what works best for your mounting needs. My only complaint is that the articulation seems stiff and difficult to position the TV as it feels like you're going to flex the TV before the mount begins to move. There should be some kind of handle system directly to the mount that is beefy enough to position the TV. Maybe there is a method to make the articulation easier? I've read that loosening the joint bolts a bit can help but not sure if I should try this. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in. It's a big and heavy TV so there's that.

This is very well-made, but very heavy. This is really a two-person install. However I was able to install this by myself by separating the mount arms from the wall bracket and then reconnect it once the wall-bracket was installed. It was not a fast install.
