I have a 120lb 98" TV. I was going to just place it on a console table, but I was concerned that it might get knocked over and hurt someone. Also, this keeps it closer to the wall and I think that looks and performs much better in the space. I'll still build a console table to go underneath it. You really have to make sure you're going into the studs, in the dead center. If you don't know how to do that, watch some videos on YouTube or hire a pro. But assuming you can get that done, the mount is excellent. It held my 200lb body weight at moderate extension. I'm sure it would hold it all the way extended but I wasn't that brave. This is a heavy duty (and heavy) mount and I think that makes it worth the price. Some others were much lighter and I'm not sure I'd trust them. This is a tank. You will almost certainly need two people to install it. And I'd suggest a socket and ratchet to make the install as easy as possible. Adjustability is great, although I prefer to just take my time and make sure it's level from the start. I used a laser and that made things easier. It was strange that it didn't list the specific VESA mount pattern for my TV, but I was within the range they showed and it's working just fine. So I don't think that's an issue. But I did need to find different M6 bolts for my TV. Make sure you use the recommended length and not just what comes with the TV. They provide a bunch of options but none that matched what my TV needed. Not a big deal, but good to plan ahead for so you can order at the same time. Don't use bolts that are too long or you might damage the TV. Overall would highly recommend, and will likely buy another one of the same brand to mount a smaller TV.

I chose this TV mount because I bought a 98" TV and wanted to make sure I had a sturdy enough mount. We've never mounted a TV before, so I was a little nervous. But this mount did not disappoint. Finding the perfect spot wasn't hard since the range of motion is easily adjustable. All the hardware was included making for easy installation. We have grandkids and don't want any accidents, so after installing the mount my 235 lb husband hung from the mount to make sure it held, And it did! I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

I had professionals install, and my TV is 98-inch, and it looks great. The wall mount is very heavy and durable, it is a little hard to move it around, it takes 2 of us to move it.

Works well for mounting a Samsung QN90F 85" TV. The mounting kit comes with enough bolt, washers and shims to suit just about any installation, but it does take a little planning to choose what works best for your mounting needs. My only complaint is that the articulation seems stiff and difficult to position the TV as it feels like you're going to flex the TV before the mount begins to move. There should be some kind of handle system directly to the mount that is beefy enough to position the TV. Maybe there is a method to make the articulation easier? I've read that loosening the joint bolts a bit can help but not sure if I should try this. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in. It's a big and heavy TV so there's that.

Awesome mount! Super sturdy and came with everything you need. Mounted a 98” tv on it. Has no give at all and being able to pull it out and push it back in makes it super easy.

Great mount for a 98 inch TV. Comes with everything you would want it to. If you want to hang a large TV and be able to swivel it, you probably can't do better than this one. Just take care to find the center of two studs. This is heavy and you will probably need a friend to help. You definitely aren't picking up a 98 inch TV by yourself.
