A bit smaller than I expected, I haven't tried to fit my laptop in it yet but I don't think it will fit (it is a 15inch) Overall however, I do love all three pieces. There was a slight oder when I first opened them but I went away fairly quickly. I would complain about how much packaging there was, seemed a bit excessive to me, but other than that I am in love, they are absolutely beautiful! They are pretty stiff at first so both will stand on their own which I like, the larger bag fits on my shoulder without using the extra strap which I like as well. The smaller one is perfect for when I am going somewhere nicer or just running a few errands and I don't need to have everything with me. **Update 4 months later I use the larger bag everyday for work and it still holds up great, and it still stands on its own.
