I bought this box because I need something to fit a particular purpose, specifically, I wanted to fashion a mobile fly tying setup. This completely fit the bill! It's sturdy, well made, and fits everything I need when paired with a medium-sized plastic box for all of the various feathers, dubbing, materials, etc. I ended up ordering a second mount for my Renzetti vise and installed that onto the front end of the box, which works perfectly, and allows me to quickly swap the vise between the base and the box. When one of my buddies saw my setup, he duplicated it for fly tying, and ordered a second box to serve as his gun cleaning kit. I have included several photos, which speak for themselves.     • Great box, no problems, good design for all my drawing and watercolor bits and pieces.
What a great little box. I watercolor and draw so it holds about every thing for my drawings. All those little bits find a place. Had none of the problems reported elsewhere. Perfect condition. Tight glued hardwood. It is very light weight.

    • Great for all your small tools
I uses it for my small electronics tools and it is the only "toolbox" I own that let's me open everything while keeping everything visible without overlap of drawers. Are you sure you weren't an engineer Monte?

I bought this as a storage unit for spare watch batteries, watch bands, tools, and other watch parts. It really is fantastic for this purpose. Can't tell you what it would be like for art supplies.

    • Don’t expect wood working projection
I like the box! Design is original and lends itself to be functional for my needs as a leather worker and custom knife sheaths/ handles. There is a couple things going on with the wood work that a finish carpenter couldn’t get away with but not worried about that long as it functions well and keeps my tools organized. That it does! It doesn't latch and is a little on the shoddy side. Easy at home patches, but expect to put some work into it if you want something sturdy.
