    • I had my doubts but....
Well I got it for a .22 Ruger carbine. It really clear, crisp lens are great. If I thought that this would.hold up to recoil I would put one on one.of my AR platforms with QD mount. (which I bought separately even though the FDE one comes with a black scope mount. now they are both FDE. I have a real big scope for it just in case I want to go back to goofing around past 100 yards. should have got the 1-6. the edge to edge clarity (sweet spot in middle of lens) is great. almost all the way to the very edge. and even then it's just about as good as any high dollar scope. the o ly con is the FDE colors don't match and both the scope and the mount are theirs. the MX-1 reticle is great! the center dot is less.than 1 moa. and that's even better. this is a great scope for the money and if it's on sale father's day maybe I'll grab the 1-6 just to have and try out. as a spare. they could change the mount tp QD in the box and tack.on 5.00..lol ... show more

    • Definitely a must try
Color: Black Style: MX1 Reticle
This LPVO is definitely a must try, I know for a $100 optic it can definitely be skeptical to order, It was for me but it’s a nice optic for the price, it’s got some good weight but not to much, the clarity of the optic through the entire zoom is really nice. The zoom isn’t to tough to manage at all the only thing that has a cheap feel to me is toggling through the brightness settings. But I won’t use that to much so it still gets a 5 star out of me, if it doesn’t hold up on my 300blk I’ll be back to update. But so far I definitely recommend trying this scope out. ***Update*** I now have 300+ rounds of 300blk and it’s held zero perfectly. ... show more

    • Great LPVO!
Color: Black Style: MX1 Reticle
Monstrum has been getting better and better over time. I put this on my AR and it zeroed easily and has held zero over the course of about 500 rounds. So far I am very very happy with it. The glass is clear and the 1x is a true 1x. Can't think of anything I'd change.

    • Decent for a cheapo
Color: Black Style: MX1 Reticle
I really don’t have many complaints about this scope. It’s cheap, has pretty clear glass, has held zero, feels solid. My biggest complaint is really the weight. It’s a chunk for its size.

    • Quality optic
Color: Black Style: MX1 Reticle
This little 1-4x optic is fantastic. Well made, sturdy, both the optic and the bracket that comes with it. Holds zero perfectly on an old 30 cal M1 carbine. I was sort of regretting the purchase until I got it and realized the quality of its construction far exceeds its price. Then when I actually put rounds down range I couldn’t believe it. How can this little LPVO that in my opinion compares favorably against the big brand names of similar optics be so inexpensive. Of course I’m just plinking and playing around but that’s probably what most of us are doing. Hopefully the brand will stay priced as they are because once they starts getting recognized, the prices will certainly go up. ... show more

    • Becareful with receiving returns and missing items

I didn't know this until after receiving this. This Monstrum comes with a really good mount. People buy these cheap scopes to steal the mount, and then return it. I ended up getting one these returned items. It was used and was missing the mount. There were fingerprints all over it, including the battery that was inside. Not to mention the Monstrum tamper seals were cut. This is not the first time I buy this scope, but the first time I get it from Amazon. When you buy this new, it comes with a tamper seal, and the packaging holds the scope in place away from the mount. The battery is NOT inside the scope. Amazon needs to step up and do a better job! It's not enough to waste people's time and allow them free returns! The scope itself is a very good affordable scope. Probably the best LPVO under $100...when someone doesn't steal the mount!! ... show more

    • Good little budget scope
Color: Black Style: MX1 Reticle
Honestly, I didn’t know how it would work out, I threw this on my ak and just ran some rounds through it. Got it sighted in and we were plinking at 100-130 yards no problem. I’ll be taking it further when I have a chance but it held zero and the sight stayed on the top even with some rapid fire. No complaints on my end. ... show more
