Description

Monster & Master C-clamp Locking Pliers are forged with high carbon steel and are strong and tough after heat treatment. The clamp body is stamped with a high-quality steel plate, which has strong tension resistance and is not easy to deform. Using screw fine-tuning mechanism, the size of the clamp can be adjusted. It's firm when clamping easy to release when needed. Integral heat treatment, high hardness, and large torque, surface sandblasting makes the whole beautiful, antiskid and wear resistance, increase rust resistance.

I bought two 15” Monster & Master vise grip clamps because larger clamps can often be used in place of a smaller one - but a small clamp can’t replace a big one. And I didn’t want to buy several sizes. Well these are BIG! I’ve been a maintenance mechanic for over 35 years and I’m used to the 11” or 18” clamps. These fall right in between and seem very well made. The finish is what you find on Vise-grip or Crescent brand tools. Rivets and pivots are tight and secure. The clamps lock and unlock very positively. One of mine has a very slight roughness to the adjustment screw. I only noticed because reviews of other brands had some very rough adjusters. Clamps are great value for the money, but do not have the build quality of name-brand clamps. The upper jaw wiggles a little from side to side. It is possible the clamp does not come down in the center of the pad. IT DOES STILL WORK--this is only a criticism of the build quality. Adjustment slide, lock, and pressure all seem good. The steel might be cheap, but I haven't bent them with my use. I think these are a good choice for light/medium use. They are a fantastic value, especially for such deep-throated clamps (20cm/8in) ... show more
