This Monster Jam Monster Truck car wash is great to put outside for playing with dirt and water. Yes, the Megalodon does color change. The set is easy to put together and can take a lot of rough play. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, 1:64 scale, are compatible with this set.

    • Ice cold means ICE F COLD!
My 4 year old son LOVES this. He wasn’t too sure about it (he HATES car washes so he didn’t want to play with it at first. 😅) but once I put it together and got it set up he loves it. Few gripes: 1. “Ice cold water” means frozen water. Literally. We filled it up with our coldest tap water and it didn’t show the “mud” on the truck. We added ice cubes to the water and it still didn’t show “mud” on the truck. We had to hold the truck and run the ice cube over it in order for the “mud” to appear. 2. It’s so awkward and bulky that once you dismantle it you have to dry it over a sink in pieces and then it’s hard to store somewhere. You’ll need another box or storage bin because it won’t fit back in its original box. 3. Make sure you place towels down unless you don’t mind your tables or surfaces getting wet. My son does love it and I’m that mom that’ll deal with the awkward annoying toys if it makes him smile so here we are. ... show more

    • I wish I hadn’t bought it
I’m not sure why this got so many good reviews. It was a pain to put together and does not stay together well. The design also requires the cars to be put on the belt in a very specific way in order to move forward, which frustrates my four-year-old son. The “swirl” device/yellow arm in the washer is a tiny bit too short to actually move the car up unless you spin it fast. In short, maybe this would be okay for kids on the older range, but not for the littles. ... show more
