    • Who Is This For? - [PRIVACY CONCERN - READ CONS]
I have a couple of direct (hardwired) connections. One of them fell through my center console cubby, and the other is an aux jack that can easily break if hit from certain angles. Main Pros: • Bluetooth • 12V Car Outlet POWERED • Siri Access • Transmission through BT or USB>FM Main Cons: • Level control (VOLUME) -- Control is okay. I maxed out both devices and turned up my stereo to at least 2/3rds of the way. Therefore, the amplifier used alongside the FM transmitter was quite underpowered. • 'Hey Siri' not only appears to NOT work, but the button for Siri is on the backside of the unit and it's hard to press the button when placed and positioned in some or most outlets. • Sound quality is okay, but could and should be improved. With the add-on of FM transmission, it tends to dampen/reduce the high frequencies slightly. Most won't notice it, but I did due to having keen ears. • Keep in mind the car next to you. They'll more than likely be able to hear what you're playing since you're connected to an FM band. All they have to do, is look at what station you're tuned into and they can hear what you hear; it's NOT PRIVATE AT ALL. ... show more

Finally! I can blue tooth my music through my 1999 car's stock radio. No more lugging the construction speaker with the industrial battery around. There is some interference when the AC is on, but I'll take it. My music is loud and bassy and the odd sound is high and faint.

I've used this transmitter in my brother's older Honda CR-V for several years now, and it's held up every road trip we've taken each day! The signal can get quite fuzzy and interfered with by persistent local stations on the same channel every now and then, but that's to be expected. The sound quality and Bluetooth connection are good, and the charging capabilities are fair enough, though charging a device while listening to music with it will generate a buzzing sound in the background, so keep that in mind! ... show more
