My Husband drives a box truck and he loves this, it’s his best Bluetooth / transmitter i bought Him in a while… recommended by a friend. I would recommend to anyone. Good device/ Bluetooth is clear in a loud empty truck hitting bumps all over the place. Only thing is ours came in an opened box, the actual transmitter came in open box not the Amazon packaging, so in case it has a defect that hasn’t shown yet I will be giving 4 stars; Due to that one thing (purchased immediately after Christmas possibly a used item that they sent me seems new but we’ll see).. not a big deal enough to send back or request a new one, but packaging was messy.. hope that helps. ... show more

The factory radio of my 2006 RAM 1500 does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so I had to use the auxiliary port to connect it to my iPhone so I could listen to the music I’ve saved over the years. But the aux port connection has always been problematic. Sometimes only one channel works, sometimes it’s ok. I’ve taken the radio apart and have even sealed all connections with hot glue, and that worked for a long time. But eventually, the problem came back. This Bluetooth transmitter solved all those issues. It does produce some staticky noise when connected through the lighter socket, but it’s minimal and you can twist it a bit to pretty much eliminate it. I will try the additional 12-volt port in the dash to see if that makes any difference (I doubt it) but, otherwise, this thing has made my life a lot easier and I can now enjoy listening to my music without issues. And if I need to use the GPS, for example, I can do so while listening to music and I can hear GPS instructions through the truck speakers. If a phone call comes on, all I do is quickly unplug the transmitter and use the phone normally. In short, I love this thing and it works great. I hope my review is helpful to you. But if you’re on the fence I’d say get one and try it. If you don’t like it, you can always send it back. But my guess is that you’ll keep it for the added convenience. I've been using it all day and it works good. Best to have your phone media volume turned up almost all the way and adjust down from your radio. If you have Bluetooth connection issues, try not having your media app playing music while it connects. Connect BT then open your media app.
