  • Out with old in with the new!
These shocks worked great I just had to do a little customizing by taking out the metal bushing and drilling it out a little and it works great on my 1946 ford Coupe.

  • Beefy air shocks

  • Great air shocks that don't leak down quickly-superior ride quality
Had to wait quite a while for these to come back in stock. Price at Amazon is far lower than any locally. I use these because it lets me fine tune the ride height when I've got a load in my 98 Ranger 2WD. Simple to install with a drill and ordinary hand tools in about 45 mins. The ride is great and really compliments the 33320 Monroe-Matics on the front end. Just don't use these to try and overload your truck. Made in the USA and reliable as rocks just don't overfill. ... show more

  • Not Branded or Labeled - You don't know what you're getting.
The shocks are Black and NOT White as shown in the pictures. Nor are they labeled or marked. New message: I contacted Monroe and they say that they started painting these air shocks "Black" about two years ago and said that more than likely, we have the correct shocks and that there really is no warranty on these air shocks. If they work "out of the box" after that, there is no warranty. IN other words, if they fail right when you install them, they will warranty but after that day, "no warranty". Insomuch that there is no markings, labels or paperwork with these shocks, it's a little disconcerting since you don't know what your getting. If a manufacturer is bold enough to label their product, perhaps they are proud of their product but apparently not in this case. Also, I would think that you all would update your marketing material so that "WYSIWYG". (What you see is what you get). Change your photo/graphic images to correctly represent or show your product....Just a suggestion, Thanks. ... show more

  • Good set of Shocks
These appear to be a good set of Shocks, that being said I'm not really a fan of the rubber boot that holds the Air being exposed-I had ckd to see if Hijackers made a set for My Vehicle but evidently they don't, so We settled on the Monroe MaxAir. As a tip that may Help You later on, when installing the rubber O Rings I went ahead & used some Silicone Gel on them for longevity & to aide in sealing for Air leaks. Got them installed, Aired them up & they work fine, No leaks. One other thing I didn't see anywhere in the listing that the Airline Kit came with the Shocks even though it shows it in the Ad (may have just overlooked it, but My previous dealings with other Air Shock Manufacturers-You had to buy it separately, so went ahead & ordered an Airline Kit. The Kit DOES come w/the Shocks, so just sent the one purchased separately back. Been on the Truck for some Time now, & still have not leaked down. Best, PawPaw C ... show more
