  • Fantastic desk. Very sturdy, quiet, and easy to assemble.
Color: Black Size: 48x24
This review is for the 48x24-inch model. I love that the top is shipped in two pieces. This made handling and assembly by one person more manageable. The assembly was very easy. I use a large gaming desktop mouse pad, so I don't have to do much cleaning, but the surface is an easy-to-clean laminate safe to wipe with any all-purpose cleaner. Assembly was a breeze. I put the two desktop pieces on the floor, bottom side facing up, and just followed the instructions. The holes lined up perfectly. Pay attention to the screws where it says do not tighten completely. Once you have all those pieces and screws finger-tight and lined up, you can finish tightening them. The desk is very robust, and the base provides wobble-free stability for my work area, even when fully raised. It is the perfect size for personal use or working from home when necessary. It works great with my dual-monitor setup, and I can easily switch between my work MacBook Air and my personal Windows mini desktop. My primary use is my personal computer, usually doing product research or scrolling social media. I like sitting on my reclining couch and having the TV on in the background. This desk rolls easily, transitioning over tile flooring and a thin area rug. The desk allows me to use my dual monitors, positioning them comfortably for easy viewing without blocking the footrest's operation. The desk's motor is quiet, and raising or lowering the desk is very smooth and quick. I have two nitpicks with the desk. Also, I didn't see any other desks that checked these two boxes without breaking the bank. --First, with the wheels installed, the lowest height to the desktop's top is about 30 inches. This is high if you want to use it as a sitting desk with a standard office chair. I only use it as a standing desk or from the couch. You can see in my photo where I am sitting reclined with the TV on in the background. I have a wireless keyboard and rollerball mouse on my lapboard. This desk made an excellent setup. --Second, there is no shelf or bracket to mount a UPS. I had to figure out how to get power to all my devices while being able to move the desk without fighting a spider web of power cords getting tangled. This is also shown in my photos; you can see where I mounted a battery backup surge protector(UPS) on the leg. I used a brand-name heavy-duty black outdoor double-face mounting tape and secured the UPS with a ratchet strap for 24 hours to give the tape time to fully adhere to the leg and UPS. I positioned the UPS on the part of the leg that moves with the desktop, so the UPS and power cords do not move when the desk is raised or lowered. The only cord that moves is the UPS power supply cord plugged into the wall. I have several photos included and a short video highlighting how quiet the desk is when raising or lowering. I am very happy with this purchase. It was an outstanding value. I highly recommend this Monomi desk. ... show more

  • Great Value Desk and Good Customer Support
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 40x24
I needed a 40" desk on wheels and this desk was perfect for my space and value. The assembly was easy to follow, just pay close attention to the manual and how to assemble parts correctly. For the space I'm in, while technically being 39.4", it fits snugly for what I'm working with and feels sturdy. Customer support was quick and helpful when I inquired about shipping the wheels for my desk. Overall, I'm happy with this desk! ... show more

  • Amazing adjustable standing desk. Sturdy, quiet, easy to assemble.
Color: Black Size: 48x24
It was very easy to assemble and had one of the best assembly instructions I’ve seen. All the tools you need are included and anything that needs to installed a certain direction is marked with an arrow, both on the part and in the manual. The motor is very quiet, raises and lowers at a good speed and the memory settings are a great feature. If you want to use multiple monitors, you’ll probably need a monitor arm since the desk isn’t very wide. I’d be careful using one that clamps to the desktop since it’s made of particle board (excuse me “engineered wood”). That might put too much weight in a single location. I went with a wall mount monitor arm. If you go with that, be careful when raising the desk. If the monitors are too low, or your desk is cluttered like mine something on the desk, the desk or whatever is under the desk will hit the monitor and the desk will keep going. You can stop it, but by the time you react it may have already pushed the monitor up and possibly damage something. It says it has collision detection. That didn’t seem to kick in, but maybe it was how I had things positioned. Overall it’s a great desk at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great desk and value for price
I’ve had this standing desk for over 3 years now (pandemic work remote purchase) and it’s worked perfectly for my needs. I’m 5’4” and needed a desk that would drop down lower than 30”. The lowest setting at 28.5” is still taller than the Herman Miller Jarvis desk (which goes down to 25.5”), but it’s still shorter than most other electrically-powered adjustable desks out there. It wiggles a bit when the desk is being adjusted, but only ever so slightly. Assembly was not difficult in terms of complexity, but it wasn’t smooth sailing either. Mainly because one of the holes wasn’t cut properly and there was a tiny edge of metal that kept a screw from going into the hole. I had to use a cylindrical metal file (purchased at a hardware store for $7) to file the hole down to get the screw in. It’s also heavy and hard to assemble by yourself if you’re small, shorter. I had to have my husband help me lift the top piece to get it on the desk. But nevertheless, it came together with a little McGuyver-thinking and a buddy. My one big complaint is that the power box for the power control panel gets in the way. it is extremely heavy and cumbersome and the adhesive brackets they give you to stick it the bottom of the desk does not hold the weight up. The box constantly fell down after I installed under the desk with adhesives. Letting it dangle gets it tangled with other wires and risks the desk getting stuck when trying to raise the height. That means the power box has to rest on the back corner of the desk (see Photo #2). It’s not the worst thing since the back corner of my desk is behind my computer setup and I can hide it with plants. However, it would be better if they provided screw-in brackets to hold the battery box under the desk like they do for the controller. Also, the keyboard tray is a total joke. It’s made out of plastic and it doesn’t have enough space for a mouse and keyboard. I bought a nicer pull-out tray for my keyboard that I found on Amazon, drill custom holes and move the desk control panel to make it fit. The metal desk bracket hits in the worst spot for fitting a bigger keyboard tray (see Photo #3 where my finger is pointing for context), but if you drill new holes and turn the desk control panel sideways, then you can move the control panel out of the way and you can fit an off-brand keyboard tray. Once I figured out how to configure everything, though, I’ve hardly noticed those nuisances. It operates smoothly and gives me the ergonomic setup that I need for significantly less cost than buying a Jarvis. ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for
Color: Black Size: 48x24
The 48x24 inches is a great desk which I was able to build with relative ease. The wheels help with portability, but it also comes with a flat bottom attachment for those who need it. It is large enough for my computer setup, but portable enough to hide away when guests are over which is what I needed. I’m more than satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

  • Perfect standing desk
Color: Natural Size: 71x31.5
It was a fairly easy assembly, took about 20 minutes. The table top comes in four parts, meaning there are three large seams when assembled. This doesn't bother me as I use a large mousepad to cover the top. It was really hard to narrow down my choice of a desk because I needed something long and the 71" is perfect and at a much better price than other competitors. The standing feature allows you to set 3 different custom heights and is super quiet. I love how quiet it is when going up or down and it even shocked my family when they heard it too. Do be warned that it does slightly tip/rock when you are leaning on the front edge, but this isn't so much of a bother for me as it is really sturdy still and nothing on my desk has fallen over. I keep my PC, my ultrawide monitor and second monitor on the table top and nothing falls and the lift system has no issues with the weight. Overall, the color is gorgeous, the standing feature is exactly what I was looking for, and the size is wonderful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a budget standing desk that doesn't sacrifice style or make loud noises when moving. ... show more

  • Quality and Quiet!
Color: Black Size: 40x24
Quality desk! The assembly was easy and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the parts. Solid metal legs and support pieces along with a nice wooden surface. I purchased the 39.4"×23.6" and that size was perfect for my needs. The motor is quite and there are 3 memory locations for desired heights. The item was well packaged and arrived in great condition. 5 Stars! ... show more

  • Very happy with this purchase, take it from someone who is picky about these type of purchases!
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 55x24
So impressed with this desk. I've had it for a year now and it's not feeling any different than the day I built it. I currently have a monitor, laptop and third portable screen on it with a 15lb backpack hanging off the side. Feels sturdy and supported. The wheels are responsive and move easily. The building of the desk was super easy and straight forward, I'm no bob the builder but I was done in 30 minutes. The height adjustment is smooth. I'm 6ft tall and the high and low end are perfect for sitting or standing. I'd say maybe 6'3 is the higher end where it might be comfortable? Total ballpark guess here though. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase and I'm pretty picky with these types of purchases ... show more
