Purchased in 2020, two seasons of good use. Very comfortable and perfect for an all-day sit. Pretty sturdy, I've sat through moderate wind and didn't feel nervous. The base and seats are substantial, enough that I wish I had put it together closer to the truck and not down in the workshop. Installation wasn't easy. We should have had another person. The platform is solid...the ladder is not. It twisted or walked too much to winch up and keep steady. Ended up removing the bottom 4 ft section to stabilize it. It looks down a hill anyway, so that section is a rose arbor now. Also, I prefer a ladder that leans at less than 90. The trunk teeth don't extend enough to allow that. The packaging was awful don’t really know what happened with it and a couple days late The stand is pretty nice but is came missing tons of assembly bolts and they don’t really match what the instructions call for, I’m guessing I ended up with the wrong bag of hardware The chairs are really nice but are a complete nightmare to assemble everything else with the proper bolts is pretty simple and easy So ultimately it’s a nice stand so far I just had a bad experience with shipping, missing bolts (10) and ladder rungs not matching photo ... show more

All of the seat pieces needed a conduit bender to make them work. The machining is great on some pieces and poor on others. Have an extra person around when assembling. As others have said, this was a nightmare to get together. I am a very handy person, and this took me several hours to put together. Nuts and bolts came all in one bag. I had to separate them by size and place them into Ziplock bags. The chairs were absolutely frustrating to put together, but after many swear words and throwing of tools I finally got it. Many other parts needed a little encouragement to line up, but once together, I was happy with the comfort of the stand. I was a bit hesitant to try this stand because of some reviews I read; however, I did not encounter the issues that others have stated. I didn't have to drill any new holes - or alter the stand in any way. All the hardware does come in one bag; however, all you have to do is separate everything into groups before you get started. The tips included in the instructions (especially for the seat) were spot on. It took me about 3 hours to put together - but that was taking my time. If you were in a rush, and stuck with the instructions, you could probably do it in 2 - 2.5 hours. ... show more

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. Hunting season isn’t until September, so it did not get put together immediately. When we did open in we discovered missing pieces. Not just hardware, which was just one big mess, and missing two bolts, but also the two support pieces for the seat. Of course, seller won’t do anything because it’s been more than 30 days. Putting it together was AWFUL. Getting the braces on the back of the seats took over an hour by itself. Then, getting it in the tree. It is so incredibly too heavy that the ladder bent as we were lifting it. The ladder is not nearly strong enough to hold this upright. We have it up for now, but it is definitely not stable enough to hold the 500lbs it claims. Be prepared for a veeeeery long process if you purchase this, and at least four people to get it up. ... show more
