Ok, first it's a nice compact and sturdy cat tree so I'm happy with the purchase. But being a master of assembling anything from Ikea, this was not as easy to put together (at first) as I expected based on the reviews before I ordered it! First assembly tips: The guy in the company's QR code video just breezes through the assembly and makes it look easier. I slowed down the video several times to see what he was actually doing on the confusing step - the beginning. So, the hidey hole has 3 little columns inside of it that are not visible on the picture if you start by using that as a reference. Find the 3 short columns and watch the video to see exactly where the guy places them and then you have to push hard to wedge them into place and if you get them lined up properly they'll eventually fall into the holes, and then the rest of the instructions will start to make sense! Overall this climber offers enough variety for new cats and fits in a room in front of a window without being gargantuan, and once it was assembled it seems pretty sturdy. Time will tell with the little basket, will have to see if it supports the cats when they get larger! ... show more

I ordered this because it was a great price and I'm very happy with it. The light gray fabric is a nice neutral color and very soft. The different scratchers are a great addition. I got this put together by myself using only the included tools in about 20 minutes. Easy to follow directions for set up. I had planned to move it from this spot in our living room to under the window, but our younger two have been loving it right here. (Plus you can get a better idea of the size in comparison to our couch.) They are very active kitties and this has kept them engaged. They especially like the hanging star toy. Both just over 1 y/o and average size for their age. Our senior kitty is 17 lbs and I don't think it would hold him without wobbling or tipping, but it's perfect for the little ones. ... show more

Good value for the price. The quality isn’t great, but considering how cheap it was, it seems to be holding up OK. We foster kittens for the local shelter so it gets a lot of use and has stood up pretty well to all the wear and tear so far. The kittens enjoy the basket and like to play with the hanging star toy. The scratching poles are also nice and get a lot of use. It’s easy to vacuum off between litters. I do wish the little basket fabric were removable and washable but I am overall pretty happy with the purchase considering the low price. It is beginning to rip/tear in some areas, but again, as it gets a ton of use from consecutive litters of kittens and the occasional adult cat, it’s not entirely unexpected considering how inexpensive it was. It’s starting to open on one seam of the basket, and we’ve got a hole forming in one part of the shelter, likely due to someone hanging from the fabric. The fabric on the ramp is starting to tear away from the board, but should be able to glue or staple it back on easily enough. Overall pleased! ... show more

One of my feral cat friends came to my house to eat everyday and decided to have her kittens here. I bought this for them to learn to climb and be happy kittens. It was really easy to assemble, it took about 30 minutes. It's very sturdy and it looks so cute. The kittens love it.

The media could not be loaded. Great product overall for the price. The height was just what I imagined, as was the color. Decent quality, there was a tiny rip on the cat bed part, but I just quickly sewed that back together and it's held up just fine!
