I ordered this because it was a great price and I'm very happy with it. The light gray fabric is a nice neutral color and very soft. The different scratchers are a great addition. I got this put together by myself using only the included tools in about 20 minutes. Easy to follow directions for set up. I had planned to move it from this spot in our living room to under the window, but our younger two have been loving it right here. (Plus you can get a better idea of the size in comparison to our couch.) They are very active kitties and this has kept them engaged. They especially like the hanging star toy. Both just over 1 y/o and average size for their age. Our senior kitty is 17 lbs and I don't think it would hold him without wobbling or tipping, but it's perfect for the little ones. ... show more

Ok, first it's a nice compact and sturdy cat tree so I'm happy with the purchase. But being a master of assembling anything from Ikea, this was not as easy to put together (at first) as I expected based on the reviews before I ordered it! First assembly tips: The guy in the company's QR code video just breezes through the assembly and makes it look easier. I slowed down the video several times to see what he was actually doing on the confusing step - the beginning. So, the hidey hole has 3 little columns inside of it that are not visible on the picture if you start by using that as a reference. Find the 3 short columns and watch the video to see exactly where the guy places them and then you have to push hard to wedge them into place and if you get them lined up properly they'll eventually fall into the holes, and then the rest of the instructions will start to make sense! Overall this climber offers enough variety for new cats and fits in a room in front of a window without being gargantuan, and once it was assembled it seems pretty sturdy. Time will tell with the little basket, will have to see if it supports the cats when they get larger! ... show more

My daughter adopted a kitten and of course a cat stand is a must have. This one is purrrfect! Easy to put together, has all the things to climb on and take kitty naps on. Has rope around the legs, a rubber grooming piece on one of the legs to brush up against, and a cardboard scratch pad. She absolutely loves this and uses it for scratching. I have not once seen her use the furniture or carpet for scratching! ... show more

One of my feral cat friends came to my house to eat everyday and decided to have her kittens here. I bought this for them to learn to climb and be happy kittens. It was really easy to assemble, it took about 30 minutes. It's very sturdy and it looks so cute. The kittens love it.

My cats LOVE IT!!! This is the perfect cat tree for people who don’t want a ginormous cat tree at home. But still want to give 1-2 cats a place to hang out. It’s a little wobbly and my boy cat weighs about 13 pounds. So I would strongly advise anyone with heavier cats to take off the hammock. But even for him, he’s been loving the cat tree SO much lately!! I understand why it might be slightly wobbly and overall not the best of the best because I paid so little. The item received was not exactly like the one in the picture. The biggest problem is there NO written assembly directions. And the pieces don’t match the picture. There’s a black plastic brush thing that’s not in stock photos, and the toy was a ball, not the star. Because it has such high reviews I will look at a customers assembled product that looks to be what I bought. If I can get it built relatively fast and my baby likes it, I’ll come back and change the rating, not what I wrote. ... show more
