This bed has so much potential. I bought this bed kind of skeptical because the reviews were mixed but it’s overall a good bed. The only issue I had is the directions can be a bit confusing if you don’t pay close attention to the details in the description and pictures. Also I’d be careful jumping on the bed because it’s meant to hold just your body weight when simply laying down as opposed to bouncing up and down on the slim wooden planks. ... show more

I actually really like this bed. It is sturdy and cute. However the clips that hold the wood slats in are cheap and break. Also cannot reuse them. So if you need to take the bed apart you have to break all the clips and buy new ones to put it back together. I am returning this frame for something better. ... show more

It went together pretty quickly. It's very squeaky, even after checking to make sure all the screws are tight. It will squeak if my cats hop into bed (heaviest is 15lbs/6.8kg). If you have any auditory processing issues, I recommend avoiding.

    • Slats come out
It was easy to put together. But when my older daughter sleeps on it the slats slide out of the plastic pieces. I have put them back almost every night. I ended up buying different slats at the hardware store.
