  • Meh. Just OK. But not as described and probably not suitable for an adult.
Size: Twin Style: 6 Inch
I purchased the Twin 6 inch folding mattress for use as a guest bed. The description says it has 2 inches of memory foam atop 4 inches of high density foam. Well in total, after fully expanded for more than 24 hours, it only expanded to just over 5 inches (5.25 inches). When I unzip one of the sections to get a closer look at the interior, I can clearly see that the blue memory form portion is NOT two inches as described. Not even close. It measured at 3/4 of an inch. That explains why this is only expanding to 5.25 inches in total. The second incorrect measurement is the length. Its advertised as 75" long, but in fact only expands out to 72" (6 feet), which is 3" short. That's fine for a child, teen or small woman. But most adults would not find this to be long enough. In fact, I'm a 5'3, 140lb female and it felt quite short to me. Laying on the bed itself felt comfortable enough for a guest bed purpose. It was soft, but not too soft, and seemed to support my body sufficiently. However, when I rolled onto my knees to get off the bed, I could feel the floor under my knees. This is where that extra 1.25" of blue memory foam would have come in handy. If they hadn't skimped on the blue foam I think this could have been the perfect thickness. The width was the only accurate measurement on this whole thing, it came in at 38.5" once fully expanded. Folding up in order to store is easy...but without any way to keep the sections together (ie velcro or straps) and no handles or a carrying case, its cumbersome to move around and it easily unfolds as you are moving it. They really should include a storage bag. At this point, buying a storage bag feels like throwing good money after bad. There are some pros to this mattress: Its actually pretty comfortable. I give it 4 out of 5 for comfort. I also appreciate that the cover is removable for cleaning purposes. Finally, for a memory foam product I did not find this to be terribly smelly. I did leave it outside overnight to air out and expand some more, so that may have helped dissipate any smell. But I did not find this the smell to be overly offensive (and I'm usually quite sensitive to smells). Bottom line...Its good and has potential to be useful to many. But I just don't think its going to work for the purpose I bought it for...which was for a single ADULT guest to sleep on occasionally. Its just a tad too small for that. If you plan to use this for a child/teen, or in a camper van or even tent camping, then this might be just what you need. But as a guest bed for an adult...I just don't think its going to work for me. I would return this product if I could, but how? It came compressed and rolled into a small box. There is no way I am getting this thing rolled back up to fit back into the box. So I'm stuck with it. Maybe I'll use it for the grandkids some day. ... show more

  • Not as described but I'll sleep on it before I give my final verdict
I purchased the 6" small twin, which is supposed to be 25" x 75" x 6". Depending on how you measure, I guess you'd come close to 75 inches. However, the width is 24.5 inches and the thickness is only 5.5 inches. This is after letting the bed expand for 6 hours. I'll keep measuring to see if it expands more. The website description states the 6" version has 2 inches of memory foam and 4 inches of regular foam. However, I only see 0.75 inches of the blue foam, which I assume is the memory foam. The regular foam, which is a light shade of pink, is 4.75 inches. (see photo) The mattress cover feels soft. The top side feels like the same material as other memory foam products. The material might be a blend of cotton and microfiber. My shipment came with a breathable storage bag. According to the enclosed letter, the bag will not be a standard part of the package. The mattress fits perfectly in the bag. I think the bag should be standard as other portable folding beds come with one. I took off a star because the product is not as described. I am still hopeful that its performance will redeem that issue. If I sleep well, I'm planning on upgrading to the regular twin as I'm thinking of using it for car camping. I'll update after the sleep test and after measuring again. UPDATE 11/2/2022 I am 5'9.5" and my weight ranges from 165-175 pounds. The bed is comfortable but since I bought the 6" version to get 2 inches of memory foam and got only 0.75", I'm returning it and ordering the 4" version of the twin size instead. I'm hoping that I won't feel the difference with 2 inches less of regular foam. UPDATE 11/10/2022 Amazon won't let me set a different review for the other variation so I'll add my review of the 4" Twin here. In the photos, I'll put "4-inch twin" to differentiate it from my 6" small twin photos. As before, the foam measures 0.5" less than the description. This time the memory foam section measures less than 0.75". If you measure the bed with the cover on, you can get a thickness of 3 13/16". I let my bed expand a full 24 hours before I measured and used the bed. The instructions stated to allow for 24-48 hours of expansion. If you want the corners to expand well, you'll have to remove the cover to get rid of the pinched corners (see last photo). I can feel the difference between the 4" and the 6" beds. With the 4", I can feel the firmness of the foam bed. However, I still had a comfortable night's sleep. I was able to sleep on my side. And because this 4" bed is wider than the 6" bed (38" vs 25"), I was able to comfortably switch positions without waking up. Someone heavier might not be as comfortable sleeping on the thinner mattress. ... show more

  • better than air
Size: Small Twin Style: 3 Inch
A nice portable mattress that is better than an air mattress. It folds up easily. With pets in my house, an air mattress would not survive long. But this mattress does the trick. It can also be used as a chair that leans up against the wall.

  • Very Easy to Work with and Surprisingly Comfortable
Size: Queen Style: 6 Inch
This mattress is on the firm side. I'm 340lbs and I'm telling you this mattress is firm. It's also a little heavy when putting it back but not too hard. I wish there were grips on the side but that's just a creature's comfort. The material is a little scratchy but not annoyingly so like on a sweater. ... show more

  • Better than my own verrrry expensive latex mattress
Size: Queen Style: 6 Inch
I bought this as a fix for an uncomfortable pull out sofa for guests. I thought it was better than spending $3k for a Swedish pull out which is an excellent sofa bed. Well, that didn't work so well because the foundation of the pull out sofa is just poor. So, in desperation, I put this fold-out mattress on the floor and slept on it myself to see if it was acceptable. I slept better than I have in a very long time! In June of 2022, I bought a $6k latex mattress to get better sleep. No question, it's a nice mattress but my experience is that this $170 fold-out mattress is not only a better price point but a better mattress!! Wish I'd discovered it before I went mattress shopping. ... show more

  • Works well and is comfortable after it fully expands.
Size: Queen Style: 6 Inch
I like that it folds up, easier to store and even throw in the back seat of your car. You have to wait about 48 hours for it to fully expand.

  • THIS MATTRESS IS SO COMFORTABLE !!!
My back and I freaking Love this mattress. Bought it for guests, but I actually like sleeping on it sometimes as it provides soothing back support. When not in use as mattress I fold and cover it for use as additional seating. Mine did expand to full 6” after a few days. Super happy with this purchase! ... show more
