  • Works great and easy to set up!
Color: Advanced-White
I purchased this to keep my plants alive while on vacation. With a little pre-planning, it is super easy to set up, with plenty of materials to complete the set-up. I set it up 45 days ahead of time so that I could experiment on the amount of water for each cycle. It does put out a lot of water when it cycles, so I was able to do 1 minute, 2 times a day (I live in the high desert) and have enough water in a 5-gallon bucket for 7 large pots that will last for over 2 weeks. I did put it in a dry box since it's outside. ... show more

  • Not for outdoor use
Color: WiFi-White
I actually really like this device. App is easy to use and install was easy enough. Problem is, it almost burned down my house because I used it outside. It does not say anywhere that it can be used outside, so it was my fault for doing so, but scary enough to mention. The usb port completely melted into the device when a little water got on it. Such little water that I didn’t think anything about it (it was behind plants on a covered porch). Otherwise great product. ... show more

  • Moistenland Successful!
Color: Advanced-White
Excellent system!!! I'm so happy with it. I have 2 systems and just ordered my 3rd. I have 12 plants hooked up to each system and all the drippers work. My frontroom looks like a terrarium!

  • SO Disappointed, Do Not Buy This Product!
Color: Advanced-White
I am so disappointed with this product. After reading all the positive reviews, I purchased two units right before going on vacation for 2.5 weeks. Setup was difficult; I have DIGG irrigation set up in my backyard and that setup was so much easier. The drippers are the problem for this product: they don't slide easily into the tubing and they can actually break fairly easily. After spending far too long setting up the system to water my orchids, catnip, and a few aloe plants I monitored the setup for a few days and adjusted the flow spacing and duration to what seemed reasonable. Then, feeling confident, I headed out for vacation. When I got back I found my three orchids floating in overflowing pots. The first orchid in the line (closest to the controller) had drowned and water had overflowed and damaged my floor and the second orchid was close to dead. The third one hadn't gotten as much water and so was in better condition... keep in mind that these plants were less than a foot apart, so it's not like the water had to be pushed through a ton of tubing. Meanwhile, my catnip plant, which was on a shelf a foot below the orchids, had died of thirst. I'd put two drippers into its pot to make sure it got more water than the orchids, but that was apparently wasted effort on my part. According to the product information, the pump should have been easily able to lift water the foot of height difference between the plants, but that was incorrect as well. Just to be sure, I had placed the pump/control unit in at a height in between the orchids and the catnip, but it didn't make a bit of difference in the end. I wish I'd known how useless this product really is; I didn't even open the second unit I bought and I'd have returned it for sure if my 30 days hadn't run out. If you're considering purchasing this product, don't waste your money. Not only am I out the cost of the product, but I now have to replace the plants it killed as well. Save yourself the money and trouble and buy a DIGG system with a pond water pump. You'll be much happier, the setup will be easier, and you won't come home to dead plants rotting in their pots. ... show more

  • Time and some basic crafting skills required
Color: Advanced-White
First I think this is a great product, and have two, now. Second, order it well ahead of when you need it. Assembly is required, and that’s the good news - you set the dripping system up custom to your needs and setup. Also, you’ll want plenty of time to test it out and fine tune it, especially if you’re relying on it to keep your plants happy for an extended absence. Got mine two weeks ahead of a vacation; could have used three, but was only gone for a week, so no harm done - just a little overwatering. When assembling, jam the sections of tubing onto the connectors and watering spikes completely. A hair dryer works really well to soften up the tubing so it stretches onto the connectors relatively easily. The tubing has a curve to it that even heating up didn’t completely relax, so allow for this as you assemble your drip line. You’ll want to be sure your drippers all point the same direction. Also know that once tubing is pressed onto the drip spikes, it won’t come off because if the barbs. There is plenty of tubing and spikes, so I didn’t find this a problem. Adding a couple of inches of tubing after the last drip before putting on the end cap helps get more even flow to the last drip. Setting the drip rate and timer took some figuring out, but here it is: press the gear icon at the left to activate the screen. Press it again to activate the “How Long” function, and use the up and down arrows to adjust the seconds. Press it yet again to activate the “How Often” selector; up and down arrows again to set frequency. Press again and you're given the option of delay, which I didn’t use, and one more time to confirm “Set OK.” There’s a pause, and then it runs, so be sure to have your drippers in jars (if setting up multiple individual plants) or a bucket if setting up multiple drippers for one large plant, so you can test the flow rate I wound up not using the spikes because in the case of the seedlings they disturbed a fragile root structure, and in the case if a Calamondin couldn’t get them in because roots were so dense. Used the drippers alone to flood the seedling tray and a ring of drippers to surface water the Calamondin. ... show more
