The holes are so tiny and fine that this fabric is more like silk. Could be a good thing, maybe not, depending on what you want it for. This fabric is not stiff, it is very soft.

This fabric is a sheer stretch jersey. It has a nice sheen to it, and enough weight to drape well without being so heavy that it's unmanageable. Just be aware if you're expecting a more traditional fluffy chiffon or tulle, this fabric isn't either of those. Also I'm not sure how many layers the product photo with the hand is supposed to be representing, but a single layer of this fabric is much more sheer than that.
