I ride in the snow in Colorado during the winter. This tire gives awesome traction compared to standard tires. Where other tires start spinning during a climb, this one grabs and climbs. Because the tire is extremely thick (like a motorcycle tire) it is much harder to install and seat. By using the standard method of soap and water along with very high pressure I was able to get it to bead properly. Then lowered the pressure to operating level. If you ride mud or snow, or do a lot of climbing in soft dirt this tire is excellent. I recommend only using it on the back. It’s heavy and may slow down rotational torque on your bike but the traction overrides any impact.

Bought this tire about a month ago for my ebike, and it's ALMOST perfect, but just not quite. I use my ebike for riding in the mountains of Utah. I really like this tire for my purposes. It doesn't seem noisy when I ride it on the street, and it grips really good in the mud. BUT.. I only purchased one, for the rear, and I'm concerned about getting one for the front, and may have to ride on mismatched tires. My concern comes from the fact that "the lugs" are really only on the top of the tire, and don't wrap around onto the sidewall. For a front tire, and my kind of riding, that may expose the front sidewall to punctures in the rocks, and definitely will affect traction in mud when on non-flat narrow trails. So, I'm concerned that the front tire may slip, due to lack of traction, more than it should in the mud when riding on the edge of a narrow trail. I have ridden on Maxxis Minions for a few years, and just didn't like how shallow the lugs where on the rear (and the front really). So, when the rear finally wore out, I was excited when I saw this tire. For the rear it is AMAZING, and couldn't be happier. But, on the front, my Minion still has some life left, so I'm riding on that, and it's fine. But, I really wish these chinese tires had just one more row of lugs wrapping around onto the sidewall, or maybe even just wider than 4 inches, maybe 4.5 or 5 inches. So, I may get another 6 months or so out of my Minion on the front, and I'll be looking to see what I can find between now and then, bc like I said, I really like the aggressive tread pattern, and the deep lugs of this chinese tire, but am really concerned about the sidewalls for the front. So, because of that, I'm giving it 4 stars. It's good, I like it, and it works really well on the rear in the mud, but it could be just a little better.

Wanted to leave a review from a Hunters Perspective more than just an Ebike rider. I bought a set of these tires in 20 inch for my Hanevear AWD bike. I needed traction not provided by the average tire. These are the Best Tires for off road use like an actual dirt bike Knobby. I have used these tires on multiple surfaces and they even work well on Pavement -- Excellent stabality on all surfaces and great in snow. I now have a 24" Style 60V hunting Bike an rumor has it that this company will be making a 24" this summer so -- GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT lol so can't wait to HOPFULLY be ordering a set of 24" in JUlY or so FIVE Star Product !!!!

It’s very puncture easy if you like off-road tire noises, you will get it from this tire. It’s a pretty smooth ride. You just feel vibration and they have a good amount of grip. I go from on road to dirt a lot and they handle both.

Thick tire at least a lot thicker than I thought it would be a good for a back tire if you have rough roads around where you live and litter or debris that can pierce your tire like from road work or something
