I bought this jacket to take on a cruise because sometimes it gets windy on the deck. It is the perfect jacket. It is not too warm but warm enough. I have washed it several times and it always comes out looking like new. The strings on the hood are the only problem. They get tangled in the wringer washer if you don't tie them together securely. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Finally, EXACTLY what I was looking for! I've purchased others and was not happy with the partial "sherpa" lining, color, or quality! This one is a keeper! It is a beautiful shade of red, and has a cream/off-white, FULL, very soft, sherpa lining (yes, even inside the sleeves). I originally wanted a hoodie that is 100% cotton, but the fabric of this hoodie seems durable for machine washing (I haven't washed it YET, but I believe the fabric will not shrink, and the color shouldn't bleed or run). I am pleased with the lovely RED color (not off red, wine, or burgundy...just RED). The outside pockets are deep enough to hold something (keys, vape, lipstick etc.). The zipper pull is metal, and the teeth are a thick, durable plastic (red/matches the jacket). I bought a size Medium (I weigh 104lbs, 5'4) and it fits perfectly, with a bit of stretch, making it big enough to layer underneath for the colder weather! The bottom and the sleeves have an elastic stretch for very easy on/easy off. LOVE it! I received it the day after I ordered it! Perfect for the constant change of Buffalo, NY weather! ... show more

5'4 and 120 lbs ordered size L for comfort. I feel it runs small. In no way does this fit like a L. It fits me fine but my normal size is small and I can't imagine ordering any smaller. Ordered the navy blue and it is more of a purple blue. It is very comfortable and warm.
