Cool rod, easy to install, just don't do it upside down, with the adjuster button up, the curtain wouldn't pass smoothly. Installer error I flipped it over. The but is the curtain holders catch where the two pieces of rod meet. Needs to be tapered somehow. Overall I like it.

I had another two shower rods that kept falling but not this one. It's so sturdy you would think it was drilled in. The only annoying thing is that the shower curtain doesn't slide smoothly because it gets caught on the little button that makes the bar adjustable and sturdy. I'll live.

This curtain rod was bought for my daughters college apartment. The way it curves out, keeps the shower curtain liner from touching you and makes the space in the shower feel bigger. This rod was easy to install, and is made very well. It twist to make the rod longer or shorter for a perfect fit. It does come with hardware if you choose to mount it to the wall. We did not use the screws because the rod was able to sit on top of the tile, and stay intact by making the rod longer with a twist! I was able to install this shower curtain rod by myself using a ladder, it was very easy. The rod seems secure without the need for drilling into the tile. This is a very attractive option.

I ordered this because we have a small bathroom, small/narrow tub and I got tired of my arms hitting the shower curtain. SO .. I did install this alone - it's not easy to do alone - I would recommend 2 people doing it - the extra person would have been nice to steady the bar. It's important to note where the "A" and "B" pieces are and to make sure you have "A" with "A" and "B" with "B." I played with the parts on the bed before I moved everything to the bathroom. I read the instructions (probably a first for me!) - played with how to expand the bar - how to tighten the tension screw - how the cover fits over the end pieces. I got new metal shower rings - and added those on the bar before putting the bar up - so that added to the balance issue I had. But once I got the length right - and tightened the tension screw - and put the end covers in place - totally happy with the end result. But again - DO IT WITH 2 PEOPLE! You'll be happy you did! ... show more

I took so much time trying to get the rod in place that I realized at the end I needed to take them apart to make the end caps stay in place. I gave up. If anyone has the audacity to come into my primary bathroom and complain, they can fix it themselves. That being said, it’s lovely, no problems other than setup. I hate when the curtain touches me in the shower so this is a nice way to give yourself extra space. ... show more
