Some of the pieces are one sided (ie the back panel only has 1 stained side), s the back of the shelves look unfinished. Also the instructions on connecting piece 6, 5, and 6 were confusing. You need to make sure the finished edge faces the same way as the round side of the drawer facts, otherwise the self will be backwards and showing an unfitted side. It seemed sturdy. 1 leg was damaged but it's too hard to see to be worth returning. I think I'll keep it. One one, one you assemble it it is very difficult to disassemble. ... show more

I wanted a simple mid century modern low profile tv stand so I could mount shelves above it. I looked for about two months before finally purchasing this one. I’m extremely happy with it. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour. The only thing I missed in the instructions was the back but it’s not a big deal. You can’t see it. It’s good quality and seems sturdy. The doors glide smoothly. I’m very happy with it and would recommend it. I’ll update if I ever have any problems with it ... show more

There are lots of parts and 12 pages of instructions. It took about an hour to put together. Not difficult, just time consuming. It looks more solid and expensive than it is and feels. Perfect for an inexpensive piece for my daughter's first apartment with mid century modern design. Also the white doors have a glossy finish vs matte which go well with her coffee table that has a white marble inlay. Wood veneer/grain is nice also. It's a pretty medium brown walnut color. It looks exactly as shown. We got it for a 50 inch tv which was fine for size and weight of tv but switched to 65 inch tv and decided to hang on wall over console for safety and better aesthetic look. ... show more

Good looking TV stand! Wish though that there were holes in the back for cords to run through. Even in the middle section where they picture some sort of console, there is no way to run cords through the back. Fortunately I was able to drill my own holes and it worked just fine.
