The media could not be loaded. Installed these 2 lamps to give an apartment some zest & ambience, and these lights deliver! Have not fully staged this apartment yet, but I HAD to stop to show how the lights give personality to an ordinary wall. You'll be very happy with them too :) My product did not come with a remote control, but it does have an on/off switch on the light fixture itself. Product has been charged by the manufacturer so you can use immediately. You'll be able to recharge the battery easily. (Battery component is in the circle part of the light fixture. Simply slide the component out and recharge it using the charging cord provided. Not sure how long the battery life is, but will try to update you once the apartment is fully staged.) (A little tip: wall mount comes with drywall anchors, but I used my own anchors, and the screws that come in the package may be a little too lightweight for my anchors. As a result, the head of the screws broke off and I couldn't get the broken screw out of the wall. In my case, the fixture's mount is secured to the wall using only 2 screws rather than 3 screws, which caused 1 light fixture to not be perfectly flush up against the wall and leans a itsy bitsy bit forward (& drives me crazy). SO! Be VERY careful to gently screw in the screws so that the screw's head doesn't break off.)

So, I bought two of these lights for my living room about a month ago, and they were great. Installed easily, attached to the wall nice and securely, and both lights shine with the same intensity and color. Fast forward to about a week ago, and I ordered another two for my bedroom which came today. Both lights for my bedroom shine with the same color and intensity like the ones in my living room which is good, however one of the new lights in my bedroom doesn’t fasten very securely to the wall. The way these lights are installed is that you first have to screw to the wall a sort of cup with rubber bands around it, then the actual light gets pushed onto and over the cup that’s attached to the wall. Even though the cup’s very securely screwed to the wall, the main light unit that gets pushed overtop isn’t quite snug, and so the weight of the light causes it to droop forward away from the wall a little, so it’s not a clean look. Other reviewers have said their lights just fall off the wall. Mine aren’t quite that bad. Yet. You can see in one of the pictures what I’m talking about. I know it’s a little thing, but to be honest it’s kind of annoying, especially when the lights in my living room are nice and snug to the wall with no drooping. So idk is this a quality control issue? Not sure. Luckily both lights shine with the same color and intensity, so that’s good. I saw someone else’s review where that wasn’t the case and so was kind of concerning. That really would’ve been a deal breaker and I would’ve sent them back. Another thing is that I still can’t figure out if these lights are supposed to come with a remote. The two in my living room didn’t, but I thought that maybe I saw in the description or from someone else’s review that they have remotes, however even these two new lights for my bedroom still didn’t come with one. So at this point I’m just assuming that no they’re not supposed to have one. Also, not sure how long the battery lasts in these. Read some reviews that said they only lasted an hour, but then others saying they lasted weeks with running them for about two hours a day. So again, kind of all over the board which tells me quality control issues. But idk if you don’t want to have to rip a hole in your wall just to run wiring and if you don’t want to have a plug hanging down from the lights into a socket, then I think these are still the way to go. It remains to be seen how long the battery will last, and how long the lights in general will last, so we shall see. UPDATE: So, now that I’ve had these for a good 2-3 weeks I’m sorry to say don’t bother buying these lights. The batteries in all of my lights lasts between 2-3 hours. The lights start dimming after 2 1/2 hours of use and then dead by about 3 1/2 hours. Keep in mind it takes 4 hours just to charge the batteries! So the ratio of charge time to running time isn’t even 1:1. I really wanted these to work because I didn’t want unsightly cables hanging everywhere and I can’t connect sconces to electrical cables in the walls. I probably should’ve known to avoid buying these because the reviews were 50/50 between good and bad, but I thought maybe I’d get the good. Other reviewers claim battery issues as well so I’m not alone. And of course I don’t have the original packaging, plus sending them back would be a pain anyway. So, either I’ll just deal with a 4 hour battery charge time and 3 hour running time or will get them replaced. Everything I buy on Amazon has been great because I only buy things with stellar reviews. This is the first item I’ve bought with less than stellar reviews and so now I’ve paid the price. Literally.
