This replaced an old TV stand that had water damage from a leak. I've been wistfully eyeing this for a couple of years now and finally ordered it. Glad I did as the price went up to over $1000 immediately after I got mine. Is it worth the almost $800 price tag? Absolutely! Despite being 3x wider than my previous one and 2x higher and a lot sturdier as well, my living room feels more spacious, and I have a lot more storage space as well. It arrived on time, and in 3 boxes which were well packaged and protected the parts from any damage. So glad the delivery guys were willing to bring the boxes in my home as there is no way I would have been able to move them on my own as each was heavy for this little old lady. I'd like to offer kudos to them as they definitely worked safely together. They moved one box at a time, the second guy in a support role and I am so glad of this as one of them almost lost control of the box, but the 2nd guy was right there to help him regain control as he was in a tight spot and the box would have hurt him if it fell on him. A great example of safety first. Second benefit, no damage to the package. Amazon, if you can figure out who they were, they deserve to get a pat on the back!! Despite the weight, I was able to assemble on my own, and having a drill definitely helped to put it together much faster. All the parts were there, and since the "wood" parts are heavy, I have to assume it is actual wood. I noticed no bore holes, nor had issues with any of the drawers as reported by other customers. My TV is 55" and fits perfectly. The instructions could have been clearer when assembling parts that later involve the tip resist parts as a bar that is involved was turned the wrong way and when I got to that step there was no way I was going to take it apart just to correct the orientation of that part so I could install those parts. Good thing I have no small kids or pets to worry about the pieces tipping over. Granted, I could have read the instructions fully, but excitement ruled the day. So, for those folks with children or pets, please take the time to read the instructions start to finish or at least to the review the section involving the tip resist hardware and make a note of where it is being installed so you can install the appropriate parts correctly and take advantage of this safety feature. Of course, if the manufacturer would edit their instructions so users can correctly install these parts, that would be much more helpful! I simply lowered the back end slightly so if it were to tip, it would be into the wall. I am making a big deal out of this as this entertainment center is very heavy and could seriously hurt someone were it to tip over. Bottom line, I see this entertainment center lasting for many years with the quality materials it is constructed of. I don't have to worry about leaks damaging it as bottom shelf is a few inches off the ground. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and if you've been eyeing it the way I did for a couple of years, plan on buying if the price is right for your budget.

All arrived no damage. Furniture is nice and made sturdy, good finishes. Have bought the other pieces like 4 yrs.ago and have held up to the daily wear and tear and still look great. Not hard to assemble. The size is good as is the drawer and shelf space.

Over all it’s a beautiful set, and the fact that it fits as seamlessly together as it does apart is fantastic. Versatility is king with furniture. It was definitely a multi hour, two person job to assemble- I drill would have speed up the process, but it was still easy enough to do without one. — I dont like the drawer faces on the middle unit- they are particle but not noticeably so In Comparison to everything around them. However if they get dinged I’m sure it would become very evident quickly...would Also have been much happier if they were like the other drawers on the side shelves that came with the front face pre-attached (but that’s just a preference) None of the shelves came with pilot holes, so you need to be prepared to do that yourself. The handle hardware felt so light and cheap that I was a bit disappointed- will likely replace them with something nicer/heftier at some point. In the end, for 500$ for a three piece set it’s hard to beat! I’m ver pleased with it all. It looks great In our living room and suits our needs perfectly.

I LOVE THIS UNIT. Exactly as appears in the photo. As a single female, it took me two days to assemble. You MUST have a power drill, an electric screwdriver will NOT work. The wood is solid, vs. veneer over chit board. A note though, make sure to look at all your shelves BEFORE you install them as I had one that the grain was burled (circles) vs. traditional (lines). Would've been fine if I had noticed and used that one on the top, above eye level. Otherwise it is a gorgeous unit that I have gotten nothing but compliments on. Also, someone here posted about a flaw with regards to "bore holes"... Upon examination of the wood elements, that's PART OF THE DESIGN, not a flaw. In addition, the metal is a deep java with some 'gold strips' on some of the corners, I believe as part of the 'distressed' design as it's also on the handles. Others have commented on the difficulty of the drawers, mine operate perfectly. Just do note that there is a white plastic bit underneath the drawer on the right side that you have to push down in order to remove the drawer - do not try to manually force it out! On another note, Amazon has the weight of this unit COMPLETELY WRONG. They state that it's 58 Lbs. Um, NO!!!! The Towers boxed were 80 Lbs EACH and the TV Console was 100 Lbs! UPS kept refusing to deliver the boxes to my unit on the 3rd Floor. After 2 days of constant non-stop calls back and forth with both UPS & Amazon, I finally had to go to my local firehouse and beg for help. God Bless Firemen! It was the only way I got my packages delivered to my apartment, and they got all 3 boxes up and into my apartment within 2-4 minutes! (there were 3 of them). They ROCK! And I'm halfway through baking about 100 cookies for the house as a thank you. All that said, it is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL piece of furniture and I couldn't be happier, tho I will be figuring out another way of anchoring the towers as they only give you zip-ties! Also, the tv sizes in these photos are a 32" and then a 55".
