Originally this table was used on a hardwood floor but now it’s on carpet and it’s no stable in the least. The table was pumped and a lamp fell and the glass broke into many pieces. Perhaps the base needs to be made of a heavier material.

The tables are absolutely beautiful BUT before you start building them, make sure the table-top holes align with the metal squares (part D). I made the mistake of following the instructions and of course installing the top of the table is the final step. Lo and behold... the holes in the table-top are spaced too far apart and there is no way I can finish the side table. I did reach out to Amazon and they are sending a replacement, however, I have to pull apart the defective side table, figure out how to stuff it back in the box and send it back. The last picture is the big center table and that one was perfect and the holes were spaced correctly (it was easier and faster to put together after knowing what to look out for with the side table mishap). Other than that it's a gorgeous, sturdy, and modern table 🙂 can't wait to have the side table so I can have a complete set. ... show more

First table we ordered from vendor was defective. Second replacement table, also defective. We returned that one for a refund and purchased a third table (because we wanted it to match our large, round table). This table was acceptable, but not perfect. We have been trying to get a refund for the 1st table but vendor has been uncooperative so according to Amazon, we will have to file a claim against this vendor.
