I’m case you’re wondering: It does not come with a top or base coat. But DO NOT let that deter you from getting this set! I’ve used these colors over and over again for many designs and just regular sets and they’re beautiful, matte or glossy. I always use full cover tips when I do my nails so as far as longevity I would say they’re fine? I will definitely be ordering again when I run out! ... show more

Lasting. Lustrous. Thus far all Modolones products I've bought have been great.T his is how Modolones gel polishes come. Be sure to have a driver to pop the bottles out. They're snuggled in very well. Colors are as represented. I dabbed them on the box to better see them. More on point than Coosa's Fashionable browns. They're durable. The base does whatever it's supposed to do. The Top Coat has a brilliant shine. Removal with manual files is hard work though. 98% acetone didn't budge it. I gave each layer multiple 99 second UV cures because I'm new at this. I want to try to actually paint with them. They're thick smooth low odor inexpensive with a long work time. Easy to swirl together. Erasing with a drill I'm not afraid of when its not my nails. I think I'll try glass or metal. ... show more

I like these polishes. All you need is a top coat, base coat, and the UV/LED lamp. They are all very easy to use. The bottle is small however, a little goes a long way. I applied one coat and got the color payoff I was looking for. The colors are gorgeous and there is a polish for each month.     • Got this for my mom and her friend who both like weird brown colors
My mother has like 10 bottles of this brown mauve color in different regular brands that I couldn't match as gel amongst ALLLLL the gel polish on amazon - I thought I had it twice but one was too pink and one was too tan. WHY must she like this one odd color? Who knows - but one of the colors in this kit is the closest we could get. I stole two for myself and her friend ended up wearing the darkest. They had a bestie coffee date and I did their nails while they chatted. My mom's lasted thru multiple winter house prep sessions and gardening tho a nail did chip on the side - she was able to patch it easily. SO on her hands, the gel did great. Her friend has problem nails - thick slick nails with ridges and a yellowish color - she's not a smoker so who knows I didn't ask. I sanded those things down so they were rough and the color covered it beautifully. I have no idea how but she managed to have a few come off - same kit and base/top coats used on my mother and I took more care with this lady's nails... not sure but they only lasted a week on her. My mother still has hers on - it's been 3 weeks and she's painted over them with her favorite color while she waits for me to come home and redo them. 4stars I guess Edit: 5 weeks and she finally took them off - we’ll be getting these again! ... show more

beautiful polish with a beautiful finish! for the lighter colors you have to use a few extra coats because they’re a little sheer, but the darker shades are so thick and beautiful. the colors also do look slightly different on nail than they do in the box (at least the color i used), but still a very pretty finish. excuse my sloppy paint job on the pictures lol ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great product! I’m just learning how to do my own nails and I think this is really good for beginners. Just start with thin coats cause it’s pretty thick. I didn’t even need a top coat! But honestly my favorite thing is the packaging it’s so pretty! I’ll definitely be buying more polishes from this company ... show more

The lighter beige color bubbles no matter what I do. The layers separate from each other as if it’s not curing properly. I’ve used four of the colors so far and it’s the only one doing that.
