I’ve tried a few gel top coats over the years, but the Modelones Gel Top Coat is by far one of the best. It goes on super smooth, levels itself out beautifully, and leaves a high-gloss finish that truly lasts. After curing under my LED lamp, the shine is glassy and hard — just like a salon manicure. What I love most is the durability. I wash dishes, type all day, and do a lot of hands-on tasks, and this top coat keeps my polish looking fresh and chip-free for up to 2 weeks. It also doesn’t yellow or peel like some cheaper brands I’ve tried. There’s no strong odor, and it doesn’t feel too thick or sticky when applying. Just make sure to cap the free edge and cure properly, and you’ll get amazing results. Highly recommend if you do your own nails at home and want that professional finish without the salon price!

Nice, inexpensive gel matte top coat. Goes on glossy, but cures matte. Matte top coats in any brand aren't super beginner friendly because they show every little imperfection, so keep that in mind. Apply thin, even coats. IMO, this looks best over darker colors. I cured for 90 seconds, but I think directions say 60.

I love this top coat. I use it over every color just to add the extra. I never do a set of nails without glitter. I usually leave an accent nail clear and just use it. Works perfectly. Not runny, it is a thick base. It doesn't leave a stick after feeling. Cures completely in 60 seconds. Two coats and it's perfect.

Purchased the AI Clear Cat Eye, which is advertised to be a pretty nice rainbow color. Unfortunately the rainbow is not nearly as vibrant as it is in the stock photos. It's far more silver with dull rainbow colors coming out only in extreme sunlight situations. It's still cute and works for what I needed it for, but buyers beware this is more grey colored than rainbow! Comments from my nail artist: The included magnet isn't very strong, it's quite thin and runs quickly so you need apply, use the magnet, and set it with the lamp quickly.

This is my go-to for no-wipe gel top coat! I have used others, but I usually come back to this one. It goes on smoothly, covers well, settles nicely (as long as the coat you're applying isn't too heavy), and the shine is unbeatable. It wears long (the longest for me is about 4 weeks) and I have never observed any chipping or cracking, and I am rough on nails. In fact, my nails generally look as good when I remove them as the day I put them on. It seals in your colors and/or nail art designs very nicely and generally cures completely in 30-60 seconds. Removal is about the same as any other gel - you soak it off, file it off, or use peelable base gel. I've used this over acrylic, nail tips, natural nails, and even used it to seal regular nail polish, and the results have been excellent every time. I've even used this to fix jewelry and in some other non-nail applications. It's good stuff. I would highly recommend!
